Weekend check in 9/2-9/3

Hi everyone! I'll get us going today. I had an early appointment this morning so my workout was cut short. It was Tracey Staehle Cardio Kickboxing. My nutritional response testing showed foods that are irritating to my GI system. So of course I got some whole food nutrients/supplements to take and I have to keep a food diary. Follow up on one week. Thinking of you Elsie ❤️. Have a great day everyone.

Happy Weekend!

Today I had a relaxing day at home that flew by way too quickly, despite waking up rather early.

I spent the morning on Amazon... again. So strange how so many things are cheaper to buy online than in shops. Even personal care products for the baby... I can save lots getting them from Amazon U.K. Rather than buying them in the local shops.

I then wanted to try one of my new w/o, one of the 21DF and it didn't work! I was so annoyed. I kept trying to get it to play but it wouldn't so I had to give up and spend lots of time checking all the other dvds that had arrived yesterday. Fortunately it's just this one that won't play, so I have had to contact them about it. Hope to get a new one soon. Shame that it was the one I wanted to do today.

I then went with Chalean Xtreme Burn Circuit 1. Hadn't done that in ages and compared to Cathe it was not super tough, but still good esp now during my pregnancy but I was shocked to see I only burnt 100 kcal doing it. After relaxing with a book and even a short nap I decided to do a Cize workout to have fun and burn a bit more. So 2 workouts in 1 day, but not super intense. My body is tired... other priorities. [emoji2]

Where is everyone? Hopefully all too busy having fun to check in.

Today I split my w/o in two again. In the morning I did the first 30min of Great Glutes and then this afternoon I did country heat, routine 3... so 30min dancing to country hits.

Now I popped a couple of carrot cakes into the oven. New recipe... they already smell delicious, and can't be worse than last weeks attempt. I think pregnancy has made me want to bake more again... or maybe I am just using it as an excuse. Yesterday we made brownies, but using a cake mix so that's kinda cheating, but they were good. Today's carrot cakes are from scratch... using a whole pound of carrots!

I ended up going to a big gathering of Ham radio people. That was....interesting...it's a hobby my husband has. I don't see myself getting involved in it, but he listens to me when I talk about my crafts, so I listen to him with his hobby. I cycle with him, and I don't ask him to stamp with me, so I think that's fair.

I've done half of my favorite step combos, and I'm thinking I'll do the Total Body Fit Tower workout. That would be a good start to the week.

Hey, and tomorrow's a holiday! Which is great!

Aww, deep thanks. I couldn't check-in yesterday. I lost her Friday.
Yesterday, I did most of a Velvet Hammer Fitness Legs Plyo-strength. I lifted very, very heavy and got some "stuff out". I hope to be back to our check-in in awhile. All your well wishes for her have & will not be forgotten.

Elsie, so sorry for your loss.

Today I took a 77 minute walk with my friend, 1st 45 minutes were by myself and the last 32 minutes were with my friend.

Oh dear Elsie. That pain runs deep. I'm so sorry. I hope you can find some peace knowing that Mouser was loved and taken care of. Mouser knows. And you're right about "getting stuff out". That's when I do Kickboxing. When your heart and soul hurt, it simply feels good to move and make your muscles work. I totally get it. Prayers for you and Mouser.

Actually, I'd love it if any of you who feel comfortable PMing me your addresses, I'd love to send a holiday card and have your address handy in case of an event I want to notice for you.....I'll send mine in return.

I'm doing different step combos today. I started with the 4D High Intensity on a 6 inch step. I'm thinking of doing a kind of pyramid with the Imax3.....doing one step portion and blast every day and adding one onto it. That way it's not so daunting.
 
Missy I just did the 4 day split HIS. The 3rd (?) step seg always gets me tripped up. I'm excited that the new workouts have the same philosophy of cardio/weights. IMAX- any of them- are a challenge. Good luck! Today I did Ripped w/ Hiit- Hiit Circuit upper body. Cathe makes my muscles POP!
