I pre-ordered the calendar so I'll have something inspirational to hang on the wall in my workout room.
Today was Perfect30 Perfect HIIT High Impact. I modified 90% of it. LOL! But I knew I would have to. High impact is way beyond me these days, though I do mange a few hops and jumps now and then. The knees are shot and I know that, but not shot enough to have anything done about it. Not yet, at least.
Still, even modifying, it was a fantastic cardio workout for me. Much more enjoyable and fun than the walking workouts. I'm going to incorporate more of these types of workouts and more metabolic workouts next month, as opposed to the walking ones. I think I'll benefit more from them. Between Cathe and Tracie Long, I have plenty of those to mix in with the strength training.
I can definitely tell my cardio endurance has improved in the past few months. It's amazing how that happens when you can workout without pain, or the threat of pending surgery hanging over your head. I'm so grateful every day that I wake up without pain or the twinge of yet another kidney stone saying hello.
