Congrats Cee! It has been a long, productive week for us, eh? I'm sorry Titus had some breathing issues. I'm so glad it was a small bump in the road & he and you are on your way to recovery!!!

Maybe I'll get some pics tonight. I kept on forgetting to bring my camera---the only one I have with me is a DSLR which is kinda big & akward and it's been all I can muster up to have the energy to get to the NICU without any bags/cameras!!!

The lactation consultant recommended that each baby become an active feeder BEFORE I try to nurse at the same time. As of yet, I have not held both girls at the same time. I"m really weak after being on bedrest for so long....then having 1/2 my blood transfused!!!

I have not lost one pound since the delivery of the girls....I look like a morbidly obese woman. It's difficult to look in the mirror. I'm eating for energy and to stay strong....I"m still waiting for the "hind" breastmilk...."fatty" milk to come in. Susan, how long did it take for yours to come in? Right now mine is looks like yellow-water.

Today is 3 days post/op....I wonder how long they will keep me in the hospital? I'm not sure what to think of the transitional room that they have available. I was really excited about it.....but wonder if my basic necessities will be met?

Congratulate Cee!! 41 hours of labor WOW! Sure it wasn't an easy road but I'm glad you and baby Titus are on your way to recovery.

Melanie, I am so happy to hear from you. I think that your girls have good weight for a preemies. I saw some pics in FB and they're adorable. Ahh, dad seems so proud too!

Melanie-it took about 2 or 3 days before my milk came in....yours should be in any second! Does it take longer after a c-section?
I am keeping the breast pad people in business..I have been through 3 huge boxes already. Dont worry about your weight..you know most of it is fluid anyway. We'll all be on our road to hot bodies again soon. I am not working out hard because of my bladder issues. I think its getting worse. The only way I can explain what it feels like is..it feels like I have a tampon halfway in...very annoying...oh and I have to pee like every 10 min or so. I go to the Uro on Dec 7...gotta get this thing propped back up in its proper position!

Jen-hope things are good with you. Have you been on a run yet? HA

Congrats Cee! Nov 10 is a great day! I'm glad that you and baby Titus are doing well. Can't wait to see pics! 41 hours of labor? You are wonder woman!

Melanie- Sorry to hear that you haven't lost any weight but I agree, its all water weight at this point. You are so right, it is most important that you get better. I just started reading about hind/fore milk because poor James has the worst gas and explosive poop! I've read that it is common but wanted to make sure it wasn't something I was eating. My milk came in on the third day and he is a nursing champ!

Yeah Priscilla, are you up to bat??? Can't wait!

Nope, no running for me Susan! I am in so much pain from my episiotomy and the swelling in my bum I couldn't even imagine. I have been taking ibuprofen for the swelling but it is still irritated. I can't wait to get the stiches out. Ugh! I know my body did alot but it is still frustrating to not be able to move around as well yet. But I do try to get up and move in order help heal.

Madalynn, 4.6lbs today....she is still under billi light
