wedding gift for co-worker

I am glad someone is asking about this - I have been invited to the daugher of a co worker's wedding. I have been thinking about gifts and wanted to give the couple something without putting money in a card. What would be an impressive looking but inexpensive wedding gift I could give?

The new thing people are giving now are things the couple can use for their honeymoon, ie taxis, activities, gratuities, and whatever else theyre planning to do when they go away. Ask if she set up a registry online; you can register for honeymoon goods/services now.

Giving money instead of a gift at the wedding is also a regional thing. My mom said when she and my father got married, all our southern relatives gave gifts instead of money but here in the NY-metro area, it's customary to give a gift (crockpot, pots, etc) at the shower and money as the wedding gift, especially in Italian-American families.
