Want to run/jog/trot/crawl a marathon....

That's great that you're moving to a place where you'll be able to run races. There will probably be more running clubs there too. Until then, you can research and come up with a training program and work on the proper nutrition (you can't "diet" and still have lots of energy to run).

No, I never did the half-marathon. It was unfortunate, but it would've been too tough on my body. And then I really wouldn't be able to run for awhile. It tooks years for my knees to "heal" (I'm 24) but they don't really bother me anymore. I run once or twice a week when it's not freezing or snowy. It's a tough interval/hill run, but I love it. Some people's bodies can handle more running than others. Cross-training is key to prevent injuries and boredom though.

Enjoy your training! It'll be worth it.
