Want to buy exercise tubing

I've been doing Cathe's videos for a little while, but I don't have any exercise bands/tubes. I've just always either skipped those sections or done a similar exercise with dumbbells. But I'd like to buy some eventually.

I don't know much about them, does anyone have suggestions? I looked a bit online and the "X-ertube" seems pretty popular, and does have handles, which I know Cathe mentions. Not sure whether I'd buy the green (light) or red (medium) version, as they say most women use green and advanced red.

Or are there other kinds out there? The ones I've seen Cathe use most recently (High Step Circuit) look kind of purple colored? Anyone know where to get those?

Thanks for any help,
Aimee

I know target sells a set of all 3, light, med, heavy for like $10 or $12. I think it's the Champion brand. I got my medium at Kmart and its covered in a blue scrunchie kind of thing. I like it bc then the rubber doesn't stick to my skin.

I bought a set of tubing bands from www.fwonline.com. After shipping and everything it didn't even cost me $20.00. It's a set of 4 different resistances from light to extra heavy. I can't find the bag it came in to give you the exact name but I think they are called "Pro Challenge". It's a retail pack of 4.

Aimee,

I bought a set of three (light, medium and hard) with the Gold's Gym label at Wal-Mart. They have removable handles so you can switch from one tension to another. I believe they cost about $15.

Thanks to everyone that's replied. Sounds like there's not one specific brand that everyone's using, so I'm sure I can find something that will work. I'll check out the stores and websites mentioned!
