waistline and hips

Hello; can anyone give me some advice on how to trim down my waistline and hips? All of my fat seems to sit there and stay there. I do cathes tapes 3 to 4 times a week and fast walk on the treadmill the other days. It does not seem to be doing anything.

You may already be eating well, but your situation sounds similar to mine. I tend to have a hard time getting rid of the weight in my waistline and hips. I couldn't get control of my diet until March when I started weight watchers. I have since lost 16 lbs. and my waistline is looking trimmer. Hips are looking so firm and cellulite is almost gone completely now. You might look at your diet. Before I started eating better I worked out 5-6 times a week with Cathe's videos and ran, also. I had great muscle under that fat. Now the muscle is showing and it looks and feels wonderful! I do admit to doing more cardio and a bit less weights now. Although I love weight work and still incorporate it as much as I have time. It seems I need extra cardio to burn that fat. Good luck!!

Thanks for your reply, I do have a problem with my eating at night. i tend to not have an appetite until at least after 7:00 at night and that is when I eat.

Hi,

I have found that by adding kickboxing to my regular cardio routine has done WONDERS for slimming down the entire waist/hips/buttocks area on the whole. I do a combo of step/hi-low and kickboxing, but I do at least 2 kickboxing cardios/week. Until I added the kickboxing, my waistline measurement didn't seem to want to budge at all! Additionally, kickboxing strengthens your abs, which has in turn helped me with other exercises like planks.

Thank you for that advice. Do you have any good suggestions on tapes for kickboxing?
