Good Friday morning, ladies! I am so glad it is Friday!

What are you eating today? What are you working out to today?

What is the plan for the weekend? Reminder, weigh in is Monday!!

Well, I am feeling a little bit better, well enough to get up early to work out. I slept like crap, and coughed all night, but my love and/or craving for step aerobics has won out over sleep today!

I have not done ANY cardio since MONDAY, nor have I done any lower body work. So this morning I am going to do Body Max 2 wu, combo 1, then power circuits, maybe the bonus cardio also, we will see.

Menu~

B cereal
S half sandwich
L tuna, crackers, banana
S cheese and crackers
D stir fry

I don't really have many plans for this weekend, and I like it that way! I think DF has a Saturday off this weekend (a rare treat), so who knows what we will do.

Have a great day everyone, check in later!

Katie, Your enthusiasm is contagious this morning!

My meals are so up in the air today. We have such a busy day ahead, so nothing to post there yet - will fill that in later. Workout will be Kickbox & weights from the Nov. rotation.

Question of the day:
What does your DH/DF do for working out? Does he at all? Does he *tease* you about your Cathe addiction?

My DH used to lift all the time so he has a very good base. He still has a 6-pack when he flexes (i'm jealous!), but I have more endurance for ab workouts. He never works out anymore (much to my dismay) claiming that he has too much to do with work. I have to hand it to him. He leaves for work at 5:30. When he gets home dinner is on the table. He has a little bit of time w/ DDs, then DDs are off to bed. I work out for my hour and then we work again, usually until 11 or 12. While I work out he does "man stuff" around the garage & outside. So it's not like he's a sloth, but I wish he would get interested in lifting again. He refuses to lift with me. (I think he's afraid I'd crtitique his form too much!)

Have a great day!

Great question, Kate.

My DF Chris used to care less about fitness. He is naturally thin, and has a great body. His job requires that he be very physically fit and active (he's an automotive tech), and he has great muscles already.

I never bothered him about not working out, but I think he saw the results I was getting, and he asked to join in. He also covets the time I spend working out, and wants to be a part of that part of my life. So lately, he has been getting up with me on the morning that I do Gym Styles.

I think he will join me in the November rotation also with the weight work. Also, I need to start having him do some stretching. He doesn't like cardio....

Hello Katie and Kate, and all clean eaters to follow,

I'm sorry i was MIA yesterday, after one week off of work, i cant seem to catch up. Last night i did Butts, not gutts, first lower body workout since the big back injury nightmare. No barbell on my back though! Not going to risk it.

Today, i'm going to do the new 4D kickbox cardio only after work. My new goal is to try to keep my workouts to around one hour/i was getting a little nuts there for a while, and with all the dog walking i do, 1-2 hours/day and work, i dont need more. I'll post my rotation for next week, tell me what you think...

Kate, DH thinks i'm nuts, he calls you guys my "workout ladies" He'll say 'are you talking to your workout ladies'.... I also went on the roadtrip in August, so my Cathe addiction is apparent!!

I've been so clean since coming back, and kind of resuming a good level of fitness, so i'm feeling ok!

Katie, hope you're feeling better, enjoy BM2!

Next week, i'm thinking

M: circuit (BC or LIC)+Abs
T: total body, MIS or MM +Bar method/stretch
W: Cardio/abs, longer cardio, maybe spinning, something back friendly
T: Total body, MM or MIS or ME, whichever i didnt do tuesday
F: 30 cardio, either Kickbox or Bootcamp cardio or DM cardio +abs
S: Total body/ new series one, and legs
S: Bar/stretch

sorry for the long post...any comments?
Steph
Oh, will post menus later :)

Morning Ladies.
I'm glad you are feeling better Katie.

My DF has a full gym with about 3,000 dollars of equipment...but uses none of it. He says he does not have time. A few times I tried to borrow his 25# DB, but he caught me. LOL
I think that he is jeolous of Cathe and wished there was a male-Cathe, so he can buy DVDs. I told him about Gilad. He said it's not the same.

Today my eating plans are ???????

My w/o today was Amy stretch. I don't think that I'm going to follow Cathe 4Day rotation..it seems like the same thing every week.

Great w/o plans Steph you are like me I like excitement and something different everyday.

chat later gals

Stephanie, your rotation looks great. Are you going to do weights on both Monday and Tuesday, though? You might need a longer recovery, could you do cardio only on Monday, then total body on Tuesday, and so on.

Robin, that is funny about DH. I would get in there and put all that expensive equipment to use!

Food is really clean so far today. I was bored at work this m2orning, which made me want to eat, but I didn't (nothing that wasn't planned, anyway).

I am also not sure about following the 4DS rotation -- mostly because of all of the rest days in weird places and so forth. I really like to work out M-Sat, then be off on Sunday. I think I am going to do something like...

M HIS
T KB
W LIS
T BC
F 2nd lower body workout, extended stretch
S cardio of choice (probably step)

For all 4DS listed above, I am doing cardio and weights. How does that sound? I will follow that for four weeks.

Your plans look good. my month is going to be like this:

sun- 4day split premix (upper and/or lower toning)
mon-powerwalking
tues- rest
wed-circuit
thur-kickboxing
fri-tonining, either yoga or Amy new SloMo (which I don't have yet)}(
sat- step only

I tend to have more energy to workout on the weekends so I usually do not take a day off on Sat and Sun.

Thanks Katie and Robin,
Both your plans look great, Robin, i thought you might do the November rotation?

I am going to do a circuit and lift on consecutive days, i tend not to lift heavy with circuits, just use the weights for heart rate really.

Robin, i feel the same, more energy on teh weekend!

I forgot to post my menu, nothing new!

B: you know it, oatmeal!!
s: ff cottage cheese
l; organic corn chowder, 110 calories!, carrots/hummus, apple
s: crackers with almond butter
d: steamed veggies, tomato puree, garlic and yogurt
s: kamut puffs and almond milk!

Have a great day all,
Steph

Steph organic corn chowder, 110 calories...Great what is the brand name or do you make it yourselve?

Hi Everyone!

My DH occassionally work outs but does it in bits. He'll do it for a week then stop for a month.

I like to workout M-Sat and take Sun off, so I will try to incorporate 4DS when I can.

Katie - glad you are feeling better.

No workout today, too tired (think I might be coming down with something).
b: oatmeal
l: mexican grilled chicken salad
s: fruit
d: (not clean) - burger and fries

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Colleen

Good evening!

Just finished Kickbox & weights. I'm lifting what Cathe does, and don't get me wrong - I'm working hard - but I know I could go heavier. I don't feel like I've gone to complete failure on this workout. Mental note for next time! EXCEPT - maybe I just missed it but I don't think C tells what she's using for low plane lunges. I used 12s in each hand and I'd have to say I was pretty much at failure on those!

Eating was okay today, mostly clean, but probably too much of it. Bummer. Hopefully I'll at least break even Monday morning.

See you in the morning - have a good night!
