Vitamix 3600

Anyone have one of these? I know it is an older model and unfortunately, the info is not listed on the vitamix website because they don't manufacture it anymore. However, there is one for sale on craigslist in my area right now and I would considering purchasing if a few of you will give it a good "reference"! I'd love to know what the differences are in the newer models, as well.

I don't know about that model, but some older models don't have variable speeds, and only have on/off, high/low. This can make it very annoying if you stop blending to taste and then start up again, as the liquid then shoots to the top of the container and can make a mess. (I had a previous model, but couldn't stand that aspect of it, so I traded the base in for a 5200, with variable speeds).
