visiting cathe

I was wondering if anyone here had ever been to Cathe's gym in NJ and taken a class in real life. Its only 4 hrs from here so I was tossing the idea around.
 
I live in MN but I would love to do a road trip! My husband takes vacations w/o me all the time! I know Video Fitness (Amy Steppe and gang) took a Cathe roadtrip awhile ago. Perhaps it's time for another one!!!

I live in the Philly area, very close to Jersey. I know there are others out there in the area... Gettingfit is from around here I believe and she has shown interest in going as well.

We just need to descend locusts on that new gym as soon as it's completed!

Heh..um - I meant we need to descend LIKE locusts on the new gym... gosh that sounded pretty horrific didn't it??
 
The problem is that she isn't teaching Saturday classes at the moment. Who can go during the week? Not I. Maybe after the new tapes come out, she'll get back to doing Saturdays. Some of the ladies on the video fitness forum are coming to town for a convention & hope to catch Cathe then. They've sent e-mails to Chris in hopes that they will be able to see Cathe when they come. We'll see.

I also live in the Philly area and would love to visit Cathe. I've got 2 kids--1 in Am K, so a weekday wouldn't exactly be good-unless I could convince DH to take a personal day. (Hey, a gave birth to them, it is the least he could do!) Please keep me posted!

I didnt know she was building a new gym....when is it supposed to be done? And how does the taping of thenew videos affect her teaching schedule? Maybe in the new year we can plan something.
 
If I remember correctly, the new gym will be open sometime either just before or just after the new year. I think they are actually trying to get the studio complete so that they can film the new videos there (I could be way wrong on that part!).
 
I would love to go out and visit Cathe (I'm in Minnesota) and do a class with her. The previous road trips sounds like such a blast! I posted this question to her last May and she replied that they will plan another road trip in the future. It would be fun to meet a lot of the people on this forum too.

Well then, it sounds like we might want to wait until some time in the new year when the gym is completed and Cathe's life is somewhat closer to "normal" again. Perhaps at that point she'll have returned to teaching Saturdays. I agree that it is too difficult to do something like that during the week. In any event, I'm looking forward to it! :)
