Did she recognize you?
What a great Christmas gift!
I am curious to know if your cat showed any signs of recognizing you or your home? We adopted a dog when I was growing up from a man whose wife had died. He came to visit the dog about a year or so later. Our dog treated him like any other guest for the first few minutes then it was like something clicked in her brain and she just about went crazy! Cats are so different...do you see any behaviour that signifies recognition?

you know, I think she may recognize us. She started coming to us when we call her yesterday, and she started jumping up into dh's lap last night. And she sat in his lap all the way home in the car too, sucking on his knuckles. That was a behavior she used to do all the time to him. And her favorite spot is on my desk when I'm at it. So, I think she just might recognize us, but it's hard to tell. She may just be soo grateful to have food at her disposal and to be in a warm house with people that she would do this to anyone. I'm really not sure.
