Hi ,
I'm pretty new here so I hope you don't mind that I'm responding to your post , but it really touched me .
Everything the other women have said I feel is spot on . You need to speak with a doctor that you trust and feel at ease with . I'm also so glad that you feel good about coming here to get those feelings out . That alone speaks volumes about you and the other ladies on this forum .
I went through a pretty crazy time when my menopause hit over a year ago . No sleep , night sweats , anxiety , hot flashes and this sense that I didn't really understand myself anymore . I was 52 and felt like a stranger . I started to talk about it to my best friends and also began working out - hard . Low and behold , I found Cathe , and started to feel more in control of my mind by making my body stronger . And VERY slowly , I started to find myself again . My point here is that , as women , we go through such changes ! Sometimes it's really hard for anyone , man or woman , to understand unless they have been there . But there ARE answers and there IS help . Always .
All my best to you -
Kate
