Very Sad Day

As many of you know, my poor DFIL has been gravely ill since mid September and in the hospital for most of that time. His suffering is finally over. He passed away in his sleep during the night. He was a wonderful man -- so loving and kind, and the family raconteur who always had a story to tell. He was so good to me and the only father I had for the past 25 years. I will miss him more than I can say.

My most heartfelt thanks to everyone for your kindness to me over these past 5 months. Your prayers, hugs, thoughts, cards, and phone calls were a real boost to my spirits during a particularly low point in my life. I was going to send a group email but I don't have addresses for everyone so this seemed the easiest thing to do.
