Very humbling Experience

Now, that I have completed my first 3 Cathe workouts...I must say...I am not worthy!

You guys are some real troopers for making it through these workouts!!! OHMYGOSH!!! I'm so sore right now (but in a very good way)!

Monday evening was my first stab at PLB. Oh Baby. Loved it. My calves were so sore the next day that I wasn't able to fully straighten my legs when I got out of bed! And my glutes were sore in a place that well, lets just say it would be my "dimple" if I didn't have such a J-Lo thing going on ;-)

Tuesday Evening was my first stab at PUB. Ouch! Cathe had me on my knees trying to finish bicep curls! I started with 5s, 8s, and 10s, and on my way back down the pyramid instead of picking up 8s, i went to 5s and then to 3s! How embarrasing! But it felt like a great challenge.

This morning - Imax. What the #&!* ? Even after watching it a couple of times, I still couldn't get the choreography down. But I loved every minute of it! I'm going to nail the choreography if its the last thing I do. I only made it through 4 intervals, partly because I was laughing at myself so hard from having two left feet and partly because my legs are jello from PLB!!!

Well, hope you got a good laugh out of this. I sure did. But I'm officially a Cathe devotee! I love this chick! I think I'm going to take a rest day tomorrow and start all over again. I'm a glutten for punishment!!! }(
 
That is great! Cathe workouts are the best!

I am sure you will see great results and have a lot of fun. IMAX 2 is soo much fun when you get all the choreo down.

Very cute. I'm glad that you are having a great time hurting yourself! At least you are having fun, right?! Yeah, I remember the first time did PUB, I was almost on my knees too. Then came the OUter Body Experience that Cathe was saying that she was going through and at that point I just lost it, I actually laughed out load. I normally just chuckle a little at the cute things she says, but that time because of how fried my arms were when she said that I lost it!

What a trooper you are!!! Congrats! You should be very proud of yourself. I remember the 1st time I walked into a gym couldn't even lift up 5# dbs let alone do an entire step class. I couldn't make it thru 1/4 of it. So please give yourself a tremendous "pat on the back" for accomplishing so much. You go girl! Kathy:D
 
Thanks all. I feel so proud. The workouts seem to have already shocked my body to a new level! I told me officemate, "I can hear myself burning fat!" lol.

Now, can someone tell me does Step Blast involve the same type of "intricate" choreography as Imax2? I could use a mental break! :7
 
Oh yeah! I would honestly say that IMAX2 is one of the simpler videos, unfortunately. I would work on getting that choreography down first, work on it 4 intervals at a time, they will eventually make sence, I promise! then once you get IMAX2 down, STep Blast won't seem quite as mind boggling. She uses similar choreography in Step Blast.
Maybe what you could do, is do one interval over and over until you get it down, then move onto the next. Do that for however long you can last, 30-45 min, or shorter depending. That way maybe you can get it down a little fast? I don't know, but it sounded good when I thought about it.
Others might have better options for you. Good luck.
