Utter lunacy or insipired brilliance? It's so hard to be objective!

Folks, I'm going on a brutal hiking trip in Northern Ontario on the last weekend of June, first week of July. This happens to fall on week 4 of Mesocycle 3 for me- the end of the STS journey. I do not want to take a break from STS at that critical time, so I have come up with a plan: skip the Recovery Week between Meso 2 and Meso 3 (going straight from Meso 2 to Meso 3) and do back to back STS workouts (not on the same day, but consecutive days, different body parts, of course) twice at the very end. Am I crazy to do it this way?

not crazy

I did each mesocycle in more like 3.5 weeks, instead of 4. I did that by skipping 1 cardio WO per week, and smushing all the rest of the workouts together. So I would, for example, do STS on M, W, F, cardio T and H, Sat off, then on Sunday, I would do the next STS, cardio on Monday, the 2 STS back to back on Tues and Wed, a cardio on Thursday, Fri off. ANd then I'd repeat that cycle for the last 2 weeks. This worked fine for me, I saw huge results anyway, and never felt like I missed out on anything. You might consider reworking the timing of the whole mesocycle like that, instead of skipping 1 week.
