Update on my Dad

good evening ladies and gents,

awhile ago i told of my dad's various surgies and biopseis well after 1 1/2 months we finally got an answer. he has aggresive t-cell cancer about stage 3. he will be in the hosptial for another week with some steroid treatments then afterwards he goes for some aggressive chemo and radiation long term. the growth on his neck was quite large, almost a second head so its was really really scary. he seems fine, good spirits making jokes(mostly about the "pot" pills they have for chemo LOL). i am still scared but i am happy that they finally got an answer and treatment can begin. thank you all for your kind words and prayers, they kept me going when i though i didn't have anything left. with viola,my mom and dad, and my grandparents being ill it was rough but i am still alive,breathing,and working out LOL.

Kassia - I'm glad you have something you can name! I know how tough that is. I'll keep you and your father in my thoughts and prayers. It's not easy dealing with a parent with cancer. My heart goes out to you.

I'm glad they finally found out and can start treating. I remember those days of waiting and not knowing anything and it was awful.

I'm sorry I didn't see your post until this morning. It sounds like you're all dealing with scary stuff. I'm glad you now have a specific thing to fight!

I know it's a long way to his VA but I'm glad you're going to see him. I bet his ordeal isn't fun for him, and I know that seeing you and Viola lifts his spirits immensely.
