Hi Everyone! I just got back from my doctors visit and I'm excited to say that things are looking great :7

After discussing things with my doctor as well as my therapist, I'm happy to say I'm in the FINAL stage of recovery. Everything is so close to being fully rehabilitated (flexibility, rotational movement, vertical movement, lateral movement, balance, etc.) and the only area that needs just a bit more improvement is my calf and quadricep strength. Its estimated that this will need about 4 more weeks.

Now, for the news you have been waiting for..... Assuming all goes well in the next 4 weeks, and I don't see why it wouldn't based on my rehab developments thus far, we are cleared to set a filming date for sometime in mid August. This will allow time to accrue the full quad/calf strength gains mentioned above plus an additional 4 week conditioning period to build up greater endurance for the 4 workouts.

We're so close I can taste it :9 I hope you are as excited as I am :7 Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

Thanks for the update. I'm so glad that you finally have some encouraging news. We are all sooooo looking forward to your full recovery. You are very cared about here and I'm sure your family is so excited for you too.

Great news, Cathe! I don't suppose, for the next 4 weeks... you could confine yourself to your home, could you...? Just to be safe? ;-)

I'm excited for you, just because it's a wonderful feeling to be well! You must be a model patient!

Cathe, that's just wonderful!! I'm so happy for you. This has been such a long journey and you have been a great role model through the entire ordeal. You have my continued prayers and best wishes.

:)

Hi, Cathe!

I am so happy to hear that you're healing so quickly. You've been a perfect role model throughout this ordeal and I am glad it has paid off for you! As thrilled as I am to hear about the tentative filming schedule, I can only assume your family is even happier to have you whole again.

Hugs!

YIPPEE!!!:)

I am so excited for you, Cathe. Just remember to take it easy and don't go overboard or jump into something too early. Thanks for keeping us posted. You have been a true inspiration to me~ Thank you!

That's WONDERFUL news, Cathe! I know it's been a long road for you and am so happy you're recovering so nicely and that it won't be long before we have your new workouts in our hot little hands! :)

Cathe,

Fantastic, I new you would be Ok. Now, for some more fun. Congratulations!

Hi Cathe - I am a first timer here. I have been watching your show on Fit TV lately and really have been impressed with the workouts and your team. I hope that your recovery continues to go very well. I am sure that it will since you are such a strong person.

I am interested in getting started in exercise. I have dabbled some in the past but have never been consistent. I want to make this a part of my life permanently though because I am noticing that I can not do as much as I used to be able to do and I want to be an active person.

I guess my questions are these: What do you suggest as a good start for a beginner - just following along in the exercises each day that are on the TV? Do you recommend supplements to "jump-start" weight loss, decrease appetite and increase metablosim? Iwould really appreciate your input.

Thanks and keep up the great work!

I'm so happy for you! I just have one question? Which workout are you itching to film first?:+

Way cool Cathe!
I did preorder last year and without meaning to be sassy (that's what I say to my 9 year old if he gets out of line) could you remind me what the new workouts will be like?
One. I'm glad they are late so my DH can't nag me about buying to many workouts. I can honestly say it's been a year. :)
Two. My 52 year old brain is dead. DS is on summer vacation and school has only been out two weeks and I'm already fried!
Three. I need your workouts to stay sane!
Much love,

That's great Cathe!!:7 Glad you are feeling better!! I'm really looking forward to the new workouts. Helen

I'm so excited for you (well maybe a little for us Catheites, too ). Thanks so much for taking time to keep us informed.

BTW, control the happy dancing until the quad/calf strength improves.;-)
