Unclean Eating - Wednesday, May 4, 2005

Geez, I totally gave in to stress eating at breakfast. Somebody busted out the back window of our Jeep last night and we're fighting with the insurance company and car dealership this morning. So far, I've had a protein bar, scrambled egg, 2 sausage patties, oatmeal with peanut butter, AND a Snickers Marathon bar! Can you say enough calories for a whole entire day and it's not even 10 am?? I'm getting ready to do ME on Fit TV and I'll probably run this evening.
 
I have been on a rampage of unclean eating lately...didn't get to go food shopping when we were supposed to so the house is emptied out of the healthy food! We should be going shopping tonight tho...PHEW! I actually miss my fruit!!! :9

After watching Oprah yesterday, I am almost afraid to eat. LOL! I am with Wendy though...got to eat to the grocery store. So far...

Breakfast: Cheerios, Banana, Atkins treat, Propel
Snack: Yogurt/Apple
Lunch: Burgers on grill (without bun)
Snack: ?
Dinner: ?

just shredded mini wheats and coffee so far. Ahh the day is still young at just after 11am. I'm dying to get in the shower. Hopefully soon if my son goes down - he should be nappy after being up since 6am!

Can you say good way to ADD to yor stress, Amy? It's not too late to get a grip. You are in control. You stop that, young lady! You are going to pay close attention to your appetite for the rest of the day, and if you do, you will most likely be ready for a light dinner. You are not going to add to your bad feelings over the jeep by setting yourself up to feel horrible about what you ate because some moron broke your window! You can do this. You are worth it! :)

Don't let the morons get you down, Amy! And really, what you've eaten so far hasn't been so bad (except maybe the Snickers bar)!:)
 
Oh well, no portion control today, don't know why.

breakfast: natural yoghurt with allbran and fruit n fibre
home made sportsdrink during work out: OJ and water + a little salt
lunch: bagel with roquefort (french cheese)
2nd lunch: 2 slices whole grain bread with Gouda cheese
dinner: tri-colore pasta with two portions of stir-fried tofu and veggies (paksoi, onion, red pepper, broccoli). And then I finished the left over veggies.

Hope I'll do better tomorrow.

Dutchie, I've tried really hard, but I don't see anything unclean there:p Or did you just eat huge amounts of everything?
 
lol... no, just usually don't have lunch twice and usually stick with one portion for dinner... I know I don't do too badly, I just felt out of control today.

We have this big glass cookie jar. Right smack in the living room. Filled with cookies. I almost got one today, but then I thought better not to cause I have to report to Shelley ;-) Truly.

Uh-oh! I got ahold of a bag of dark chocolate M&Ms.... I've only had about 6 pieces of them so far so I'm trying to have willpower.
 
I just baked biscotti and ate all four end pieces. And I do this every time I bake them. I can resist some things but not my homemade biscotti. I eat them for breakfast!! :9

Well so far today I have been good. Blueberries and shreesed wheat with skim milk. However I did make no pudge brownies last night ans said I would eat one small square a day. Which so far I haven't touched today. I did eat one last night though :( Maybe I should give them away or throw them away. I just wanted a little treat at th time. Oh well...maybe I will be able to resist. Why do we do this to ourselves.

Toasty- isn'y you that said you couldn't eat even a french fry? You seem to have such great will power! What do you think about to keep from eating bad?

Shelley- I haven't made your cookies yet but I know I will! I will enjoy a few on mothers day and give the rest away :)
