Type of shoes for carpets?

I don't think my running shoes will work for Cathe's cardio workouts. My house is fully carpeted so what type &/or brand of shoes have you found that works with Cathe on carpet?

Thanks:)

For Cathe's workouts I use Ryka aerobic shoes (can't recall the model name) - they have great support from front-to-back and side-to-side. They have also helped my poor archless feet with the high impact moves as well. I would go out and try some on, see how they feel! As for carpet, I've never done Cathe on anything but carpet so I can't say whether they're specifically good for carpet.

I use ASICS Gel-1080s. I have always used ASICS running shoes for Cathe workouts. I have a pair for running, and a pair for indoor exercise to keep the carpet clean. Nothing beats ASICS for me for support for high impact activities. They fit my foot really well.

I exercise on carpet also and I use Ryka aerobic shoe. When buying Rykas it was recommended by the magazine to buy one full size larger than your regular shoe size. I did and the shoe fits perfectly.

I also wear Rykas--Alchemy 111 cross trainers to be exact. I found that just 1/2 size larger fit well. One full size up would have been too large. Check out Ebay for some great deals on new Rykas!

I use a pair of K-Swiss with soles quite a bit smoother than most athletic shoes'. The soles resemble the Ryka soles I see in Cathe's videos. They just fit me better and support my feet better, laterally, than the other ones I tried on.

I also use orthotics called Superfeet, the green ones. I have low arches and they sem to do a nice job for me.
