Two Variations on a Protein Shake...

Some of you may have seen & tried these recipes before, otherwise...

New York Cheesecake Supreme:

Ingredients:
2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
1/8 cup non-fat sour cream
1/8 cup non-fat cream cheese
2 cups non fat milk (skim milk)
1 tbs honey
2 graham crackers
2-3 ice cubes

In blender, combine milk, sour cream, cream cheese & ice, pulse a few seconds, then puree until all is mixed through. Add protein & graham crackers to center & puree until thick & creamy.


Peanut, Coconut Delight:

Ingredients:
2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder
1 tbs creamy, low-fat peanut butter
1/4 cup brewed coffee
1 tsp light coconut, shredded
1 3/4 cups non-fat milk (skim milk)
2-3 ice cubes

Blend milk, cofffee & ice. Pulse a few seconds. Next puree the mixture 'til it forms a tornado , then add protein powder, PB & coconut to the center of the mixture & continue to puree.

Enjoy. My favorite is the PB, coconut.:9

These sound soooo good, Marla! I justed printed this out. Did you get them out of a recipe book or are they yours? I am actually looking for a recipe book for protein powder. I have been getting so bored lately and am looking for some new interesting recipes.

Oh yeah, Haydee! I have done this a few times since I'm not going to wait for coffee to brew. That's a good PB shake.

Your not the only one! I don't like tea either. Never have. I have tried several of each one and just can't stand it. I always see shows with people carrying around coffee and think it should would be nice to carry chocolate around all the time!! LOL! I love chocolate!!
 
Another coffee and tea hater here, and that goes for coconut too. So I really wouldn't like the 2nd one, but I love cheesecake.

My friend makes one with fresh strawberries, fat free cream cheese, skim milk, and vanilla flavored protein mix. I dont know how much of everything she puts in, but it is pretty good. Sometimes, she adds a banana to it to, oh and some splenda.
