Twin Cities MN Get-Together Saturday Aug. 23rd?

Hello again, Minnesota Cathe-ites, and thanks for your responses to my earlier post.

How would Saturday afternoon, August 23rd work for people? I'm thinking a mid- to later-afternoon might be the best, if there are those in the outerlying areas that have to drive a bit.

Let me know what you think of this, and any suggestions for a venue.

Melanie, Baudette is so far north it's almost in the Arctic! You gotta move down here, girlfriend, where the roads are pot-holed and congested, the housing costs are tripled, and the Mall Of America is set to become the new state capital!

This works for me! I don't really care where we meet. I'm pretty good in Minneapolis now and all southern suburbs.

Whoa.Melanie, I just looked at the map to find Baudette. I've lived in the Twin Cities for 16 years but I grew up in Seattle.
We'd have to drive 5 hours just to meet half way.The walleye fish fry is sounding tempting though.

DH and I are celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary that weekend. I don't think I can get out of it}(

Maybe next time. Have fun and post pics if you can.

Ditto on the anniversary celebration for me too that weekend.
12 years for us.

Sounded fun, but there's no reason we can't all hook up again sometime, right?
