I can't stay quiet about these workouts anymore. I have been doing them for almost 7 weeks now and love them. I am certified to teach kickbox and am not at all put off by the "dancy" moments in these workouts. Believe me, if you tuck your hips under and keep your core contracted like the instructor teaches and reminds you to do, you will feel it and sweat a good deal.
By the way, I have been staggering my calories ( mostly just added veggies to every meal), use Cathes weight and circuit workouts, Turbo Jam twice a week, and power walk/run three x's a week. I have lost 30 pounds since August. From a size 14 to a size 4.
Turbo Jam has me more sore in my core and is SO much fun. I have all of Cathe's kickbox tapes and I enjoy these more for some reason. I only wish that there were more Plyo work in turbo jam.
