So Sarah....are you getting it? I had thought about it but after Lauramaxes post yesterday and beachbodys not great Customer service reputation I kinda changed my mind...:)

I have had the original TJ package for awhile and just recieved the 'Maximum results' package yesterday. I did 'fat blaster' and it was very fun. I did notice the higher more advanced intensity with the newer series. OH! and the background people weren't near as annoying.:) I got a great 30 min. workout after a Gymstyle upperbody workout. Perfect.

I've never had a problem ordering with the ONE payment option with Beachbody, I just click 'one payment' (I think it's where the shipping option is). The only problems I've had are sometimes my discount codes didn't show, so that's when I email amber otto [email protected] . I've never had any credit card overcharges that some have had. So far, my Beachbody transactions have been trouble free money wise. I've ordered ALOT! I also had defective DVD's replaced quickly with no problem.

I ranted about this the other day. Turbo Jam is not worth the money. I think there are only a couple of workouts thru the whole thing that are any good. The music stinks, the instructor keeps telling us how we are going to love this workout (Not so) and the muscle workouts are worthless. If you do Cathe, then the strength stuff is a joke. The music is so redundant and just plain awful. Sorry to be so negative, but I want to warn you. Waste of money. Get some more Cathe !

I happen to love Turbo Jam! Then again, I need variety to keep my workouts fun and challenging. Currently I work out to Cathe, Tae-bo, Janis Saffell & Guillermo Gomes - Hardcore Kickboxing Circuit and Turbo Jam. I find Turbo Jam fun and you get what you put into it. The more energy you put into each move, the better the results. They are definitely not Cathe type work-outs, but I enjoy them when I want a lighter type of workout. I don't always have Cathe or Tae-bo energy for every workout, considering I work-out at least 6 days a week.

I recommend Turbo Jam to those who enjoy kickboxing and like variety. I've also never had a problem ordering from Beachbody. The only thing I have found ridiculous is that during their Maximum Results promotion, they offered weighted gloves as a free gift, and ran out shortly after the sale started. Some people are still waiting for the weighted gloves, which BeachBody says should be in sometime in July. July, for orders that were placed back in April and May, seems totally ridiculous to me.

Carole, No, I am not even considering Turbo Jam right now. I am super picky about my instructors, set, background music, background instructors. Cathe gets a 100% on every front so I am staying here for now. P90X was hard for me to get through because Tony bugged me, I hated the set, the background people did nothing for me and the music made me want to saw my own ears off!

Also, I do not need as much variety as others and I do not get bored with workouts as quickly. Also, i have a nice collection of Cathe.

I just wanted to pass the deal along in hopes that anyone who orders can save some money!

I agree that Turbo Jam is not as good as Cathe and some of the moves are very akward. The music takes you back to the day but it is repetitive. I think the videos are good to work into a rotation if you really must have variety. If I had to describe these workouts I would desribe them as "foo foo". When I say that I mean you do them for fun, they are more for women who want to lose some weight and "tone". You know what I mean.....

Cathe is still a better calorie and strength builder if you ask me....;-) But I wouldn't say the tapes are a waste of money. I would, however, say only get one and you should be fine. Like Cardio Party 1 or 2 or something. Don't buy all of them like I did.

Sarah,

LMAO! You are so funny!

:)

I used the ONE PAYMENT with BB. Could never track the package, BB customer service kept saying it had been shipped, hadn't been shipped, back and forth. They reshipped. I finally received P90X and my credit card was charged MULTIPLE times for a ONE PAYMENT. Still working on the CREDITS and WAITING.

Never never again for me.:)

Well, I do think the infomercial is hilarious. Sit down w/ a snack and enjoy.

Live with sincerity, love with passion, and dance like you mean it.

That's funny, Sarah because I consider myself pretty picky, too, and I love TJ! :) In fact, the last DVD I checked out from the library was turned off after about a minute because the instructor's voice was too annoying. LOL

I love TJ for the variety and fun factor. Would I get sick of TJ if I did it everyday? You bet I would! But right now I've been doing 1 a week for the past several months and I'm not sick of them yet.

SO HAPPY to hear some of you like it. :)

It arrived today :) I got it for my DD. She isn't crazy about Cathe (yes, she is my DD and I love her dearly) - probably because she is 20 and brought up by a Mom who ALWAYS did cathe - so you do have to rebel - right ;)

She loves kickboxing and dancing. Hopefully it will go well I got her the basic and the max blast (I think that is what it is called).

My DD and I just finished a workout. Any activity that I can do with my 20 DD (besides shopping ;) is great.

It was not as easy as I expected and to be honest I think I need a (HORRORS I KNOW) a cathe break (at least for cardio).

Now to get PX90 for my 17 DS :)
