Tuesday Peepfest

Howdy do all. In spite of getting up a little early this morning, I'm already behind. Seems to be the story of my life lately. I'm going to have to take a vacation day sometime soon just to try to catch up with the house and yard work.

Today's plan is to run a few errands after work, then come home to 4DS Bootcamp etc.

I'll try to get back later and see what everyone is up too. Sorry for nothing personal now, but I better scoot!

Peeps Check-in

Peeps:

Brrr! Please pass the hot chocolate. I feel like a big frozen Peepsicle this morning! Texas is having wild weather swings! It was in the 80s Sunday afternoon. It is in the 40s this morning! I turned the heat on for the first time this morning.

I am planning to start the 4-Day Split in November, so I decided to take a recovery week. Hopefully, I can get back on track with sleep! I am off to thaw out in a warm bubble bath!

Ellie, I am still here! I cannot believe you are using the word "fun" to describe Cathe’s Monday morning class! If it is anything like the boot camp class she taught in July, I can think of a few not Sunday school words to describe it. LOL! That live class was way harder than 4-Day Split Boot Camp (because I have a smaller space to run across at home).

Wendy, are you freezing this morning too?

Robin, have fun with 4-Day Split Boot Camp.

Waves and hugs to all the Peeps!

Blessings,
Heather B.

Quickie post here ...

Ellie-****I am not a very knowledgeable runner*** When I started running, the TM was my medium. I started at a comfortable walking pace and increased my speed by .1 or .2 every minute. When I got to about 6.0, a ten minute mile, I stayed there as long as I could and tried to get in 30 minutes total. As that became doable, on subsequent TM sessions I increased by .2 each minute or so. After a few weeks, I just increased from a walk the first 5 minutes and then went to a 6.0 ( ten minute mile) jog and tried to do 30 minutes total. Gradually I increased the length of time on the TM and took it outside for easy 30-45- 60 minute jogs. PS- I only did 3 of these runs per week to start, and Cathe workouts in between.

Peeps~

Good morning! I'm on my 3rd cup of coffee and just starting to peep:eek: Had another crappy sleepless night...GRRRRR I plan on doing 4DS total body premix once I'm completely awake:confused:

Robin~ Hope things get caught up for you. It would be a bummer if you had to waste a vacation day to do housework. Enjoy BC!

Heather~ We sometimes get those crazy weather highs & lows here in MN especially this time of year. Right now it is 27 degrees:confused: Enjoy your recovery week. We all need those!

Hi to all :D

JJ

Mornin' All! (Say with twang and you've got my Southern welcome for the day!) :)

I actually worked out this morning--don't pass out, Peeps--I did Body Fusion (step parts), stability ball abs, and Stretch Max with the resistance band. My head was just too tired to attempt anything difficult. And that's why I will ALWAYS keep a stash of Cathe beginner DVDs on hand--for days when the body and the brain to not operate on boot camp level, LOL.

On a funny note--apparently I watch way too much Food TV on the weekends. My mom said yesterday she had Food TV on in the afternoon and when Houdini saw Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, she yelled out "Hi, Guy!" And if Everyday Italian with Giada is on, she'll actually lay on her stomach, prop up her chin on folded arms, and watch for a half-hour straight. Hmmm...Do I have a future chef on my hands? LOL!

Robin--I do that too, take vacation days to clean the house. Sometimes it's the only way to stay caught up!!

Heather--It's cold here, too. 40's! I love mornings like this. Makes the old Midwest girl in me happy. :)

JJ--I'm so sorry to hear about the sleep problems. That is the worst! I wish you peaceful, un-interrupted sleep tonight!

Be back later, Peeps! Got to grab a cup of coffee before the weekly conference call!

:) Wendy

HI Peeps!

Oh boy I'm not a good peeper as I am soo behind on personals

I've had a hectic busy weekend thats flowing right into this week once more.

Robin - trying to keep with everything is what has me so exhausted lately. I hope you have a great day and take it slowly with trying to catch up with it all

Heather - Here's some hot cocoa with tiny marshmallows -Love that stuff and its so comforting for me. Here in the Carolinas we got a cold front that came through and its brrr for me too. Stay warm! :)

JJ I'm joining you with that cup of coffee I'm cold and still sitting here from taking my car out for servicing this am and I really need to get my butt in gear for CCV6 today so expresso is what I'm having,

Sorry your not sleeping well....OMG!!!! 27 degrees! Whoa!

Wendy I love Cathe's beginner workouts for sick days or when I just can't do something more intense.

You may have a Chef in the making with Houdidni watching those cooking shows - how cute

Hi all. I'm done with 4DS Bootcamp etc. That's my least favorite of the 4DS. Too hard!!! DD, DGS and I are headed to Target. I took a couple days off in the upcoming weeks to work on those housekeeping chores that have me fretting.

Has anyone heard anything from LaDonna?

Waving a quick hi. Haven't been feeling well the last couple of days. Hope to be back in action tomorrow!!!
