TTC/Preggo's Wednesday

Candra--I've not done any of her workouts. I need to check her out on collage.

Susan--I loved the bread. I love nutty/grainy bread. And it's very filling. I actually bought another brand. It's called Food for Life or something like that 7 Sprouted Grains bread. It was the cheapest of the lot. It's really good. I toasted it and put 1 teaspoon of real maple syrup mixed with a dash of cinnamon on top of it and ate it with two links of soy sausage. Very yummy.

Kate--I started your food journal idea. I used to do that pre-preg. and now I'm doing it to watch better what I eat. Have you started yours?? Remember to up those calories today while I lower mine!! ( you lucky duck!!)

------
Henry is acting like he feels a bit better. He and Oliver just made up their own "buddy handshake." SOOOOO cute. Now they're watching Handy Manny. I think that it will be a lazy day for us so Henry can recoup and I can fold clothes.

I'm not sure how much I'll get posted here. Ds 4 (almost 5) is feeling really clingy. I sent him off to wake up his older brother and that seemed to distract him.

Dh and I set ds 13 up on a weight training program last night. There is no wrestling this month, so this seems like a good time to do it. It was wierd as all the form pointers that Cathe gives just streamed out of my mouth--I've heard them so many times. A lot of his friends lift weights with bad form, so we had a good talk about how proper form with less weight is much better in the long run than lifting to heavy with bad form.

Anyway--today, I'll continue to work on school prep. The house is not coming together as I'd hoped, but I think things are just going to be chaotic for a few more years and that's just the way it's going to be. I know it's just a season.

+++++
Hey Kate--I think you could safely eat some ice cream everyday from here on out :). Leaving the barbarian hordes at breakfast is fine, if the big kids are up there--fixing cereal is easy--I don't know I'm just pretty relaxed about it.

Lisa--Hawaii sounds so exotic. Our bible study leaders go every year at Christmas time and bring home pics to share. Traveling vicariously through others is all I can manage right now. I'd love to go there someday. I've never been anywhere tropical.

Susan--hurray on the sleep and the treadmill--sounds like you are healing up. When do you leave for Nashville was it?

Stephanie--I'd love to go on a spa day with you--fun :) . I get really shaky every morning after breakfast. I have to drink tons of water. I think my blood pressure/blood sugar are off and that I am dehydrated as well. My heart just pounds. It's happened with every pregnancy--I hope you are feeling better.

Kristan--Yup-I'm really close and time is flying this time. Usually it feels like a slow creep. I think we are going to name her Gwenevere. I'm not crazy about the name, but dh has wanted it from the beginning and I've always "won". I think this is the last baby, so I want to let him have his name. We'll probably call her Gwen. We have not decided on a middle name.
++++
this post interrupted by a screaming red headed 2 year old spitfire, who thinks she didn't get enough "bunny cereal" (that's what she called grape nuts????) in her bowl, according to her older sister. She's sitting on my lap now, whimpering. Better than screaming.
+++++
Jenm--Oh I would worry too, if my dh was a cop. It is a dangerous job. I'm glad all turned out well. Hopefully he'll remember to call next time.

Mikki--Sorry about your sister. I have no advice. You sound very calm in dealing with her. I think I would be more irritable. I'm kind of on the other end of the spectrum, since I don't want to deal with medical stuff, unless I absolutely have too.

DD2 is not cooperating. So I'm going to have to cut it short.

I hope to be back later in the day.

Hi everyone else

Maggie :)

Jen, Honestly the 1st presentation you could do without. The 2nd one is on periodization and was more interesting, but..... let's just say don't worry about showing up late if you really need a shower!

Stephanie, Glad the boys are getting along. Hope tomorrow he's feeling even better. I'm too scared to up my cals!! I feel like I'm eating enough. I don't let myself get too hungry. I'm just going to keep what I've been doing and she'll see that I really do eat enough.

Maggie, ^5 to DS! LOL on giving form pointers. I find myself doing that to DH when we're lifting together. I had ice cream last night actually. We all split desert when we went out to eat. None today though! I love the baby's name - it's beautiful!! LOL on bunny cereal!

Lunch is done, need to recruit some helpers for choremax! Unfortunately that's the only WO I'm going to get today. Back at it tomorrow. Something hard....I'll have to put my thinking cap on!

Me too, I hope she is doing ok. Maybe she just isnt up to coming to these boards right now. I had her email a little while ago but I dont think I saved it. Hopefully she knows we are all thinking about her and missing her!

Kate thanks for the info. Im not crazy about lectures so i'd take a shower any day. just not sure if i'd miss any suprises or guest speakers or anything like that. I know one is about periodization, but what is the other one about?

Im getting excited to go..i wonder if there will be any other pregger peeps there!

Hi Susan!

Jen, The other schpeel is about muscoloskeletal injuries (read boring!). Actually it was pretty informative and the speaker really knew her stuff. But everybody's tired.... Go ahead and take your shower and come in late. No one will notice/mind. I posted to you on your deli meat thread, btw!

I just had a bowl of dark sweet cherries! Yum! I wanted something sweet and these def. took care of it! We freeze them and it's like eating little popsicle balls!

Hi!
Kate I was just looking at the blog pics of your weekend. You are just the cutest with your belly and your tan. I know you had a blast.
Dd and I played, packed for her trip and went grocery shopping.
Melanie-let us know how the d/c went. Hang in there!

Hi Girls,
I have been MIA due to a trip to Hershey Park again...We just got home (10:40p.m.). DS was so full of energy. At least I had my DH, my mom, my 13-year old nephew to help. I was dragging. Baby seems to be pressing against my bladder and bottom part of my uterus lately-very uncomfortable! I was a little scared yesterday when he wasn't moving as much, but today, he is back to normal.

Kate-I wish I had 2 washers/dryers! I am trying to find your blog pics, but not having luck. How can I view the pics of the roadtrip?

Jen #2-How scary about your husband. I would have been freaking out too. Thank God he is o.k.

Maggie-So close!!! I hope that when my DS is older, he will be into working out too. Right now, he loves to step and he knows Cathe's name/recognizes her face. He tries to do TJ too.

Susan-I figured that that was the BIG surprise (yuck). I had that once, years and years ago when I went to Planned Parenthood.

Melanie-If you are reading this, I am thinking about you. Hang in there!

Hello to Kristan, Morris, Candra, Trish, Lisa. I know I am forgetting someone (sorry).

-Jen

Susan, You are too sweet! I don't feel very cute right now though! She's all smashed into my lungs and I can hardly breathe!

Jen, Materialsgirl (Emily) posted pics in the RT forum. You can see me there!
Another Hershey Park day huh? At least you get your $$$ worth out of your tickets! Sorry for baby-uncomfiness! I'm dealing with that right now too. A couple more months and we'll be thru it!

HI ladies,
It's been so long since I hopped on here, I didn't recognize the site! It's all new to me!

Melanie - I'm so sorry for your loss. I wrote to you on the other link. Saying some prayers for you.

Not much new with me here. The IUI didn't work last month, so we're trying naturally this month. No Clomid or anything. That stuff made me a raving lunatic, so I'm done with that. I did find out that I can use Femara without the side effects. Clomid also thins the lining, so that's not good either.

So, I had an u/s yesterday and have a huge 21mm follie on the right ready to burst. Probably ovulated today, so having a lot of fun with DH these last few days!

Hope everyone is doing well here!

Anne
