Yuk. Humid 95 sounds miserable, I haven't even been able to wear shorts yet! Ha Ha

Kristan, you are sooooo close. Are you beginning to feel uncomfortable? Do you normally go on time? I don't remember if you do c/s? You are definitely next!!!!!

Oh my! Busy day on this board! I'll do my best.....

Melanie, Did you get your WO in? I'm hoping to do one yet today. So sorry about the house situation.

Maggie, Nice to have a slow week ahead! Nice WO's last week!

Mikkia, sorry for the sickness. Hope today is better.

susan, Those are great WOs - I love that premix too. Wish I could join ya in the ab work! Soundslike a perfect day for swimming! I'm sure you don't need the pool heater on!

Lisa, Give DD a big congratulatory hug from all of us! That's great! I enjoyed your "rant" btw, and feel the same way.

Lorren, Nice on the cleanup! Not sure about 4. This one was a surprise but with 4.5 years between Isabel and this one I feel like we'll need a 4th to even things out. We'll see how we feel in a year or so. One at a time, right?!

Kristan, Can you imagine what your weekly food budget will be in another 10 years!? sounds like a nice brunch today. Good luck w. DHs schedule this week.

------------

Our day has been nice. I'm very tired now but hoping to get a second wind to workout and get soem things done. No school tomorrow!!!! I'm so excited for the kids having summer break!

On the baby fever thats what my dh says-lets see how we feel in a yr.:)
i had a big boy-9 lbs 4 oz. and at 1 month tom. he is already at 11lbs.6 oz.! he loves to eat-he has been so easy tho-pretty much just eats and sleeps at this point.

congrats on #4! are you hoping for a girl?

Kristan, good jog on the brunch, it sounds exhausting. I hope you had help!

Kate, grocery bills really suck. I'm glad I nurse my wee-ones, it'll really save on $ AND if we have a boy I won't have to buy anything but diapers!!! Ha ha Not sure if I'll get a w/o in today, DH is cooking steaks on the grill already, and I just don't really feel 100% today. Really really tired.

Lorren, you're baby's huge! Wow. Were all your babes big? Did you have gestational diabetes?

Lisa, are you all in your maternity clothes now?

Well, best help DH cook Dad's day meal!....

RE: ```````````````` TTC/Preggos Sunday '''''''''''''''...

On the whole weight/pregnancy thing--I'm always jealous of women who seemingly do nothing and stay thin, when I have to work so dang hard to maintain a normal weight. My husband thinks that me having to work harder will eventually be an asset for me, as I will be stronger and more fit later in life--stronger muscles, bones, heart, etc. Actually, he points out, I'm stronger and more fit now*--I'm just not a tiny, skinny woman. Ds 13 thinks I'm the buffest mom he knows, which I think is funny because right now, no one would suspect that I am a regular exerciser.

Still, I'm jealous of those women}( x( }( .

At least, my belly is so pokey-outey in front that most people have not noticed the incredible fatness everywhere else. They'll say, "you're so big, but at least its all belly." It's not, believe me. My boobs, butt, thighs, arms, calves, feet, back and face are all slathered with fat. It's gross and I'm sickened by it. I can't wait to start the weight loss process (AGAIN!!!:p ).

Okay--time to stop the essay....

take care all
Maggie:)
30 weeks, 6 days

*by now, I don't mean pregnancy "now", as my cardio capacity is really diminished. I meant a more general "now" as opposed to being a much older woman. I think I'm analyzing this waaaaay to much:p

Melanie, I'm relying on my DDs hand-me-downs and nursing to keep initial costs down too. *Thinking* about cloth diapers - we'll see...DH is totally grossed out by that idea! We had steaks for lunch today but DH doesn't do the grilling - I do. I was so prous of myself for "mastering" the grill - I was so scared of it before. DH has relinquished the crown to me - he says my grilling is better than his! haha!

Lorren, I must've missed that post about your baby's size so I went back and looked. WOW! And you did that at home! How was your labor/pushing? Props to you! My girls were 7 and 6 lbs. Hoping for the 6# again!

I refuse to learn how to even start the grill!!!! No cloth diapers for me!
Maggie, you ALWAYS say your big during your pgs. I don't believe you. I bet your beautiful with just a hump in the front. You're waaaaaaaaaaay to hard on yourself. :)

Okay, I just did Strike Zone. I'm not *super* impressed. The cueing kinda stinks but I think it will be a good WO once I get the combos a little more. Plus I have to modify quite a bit due to baby belly. I'll def. do it again but 4DS KB remains my fave KB of all time. Cathe can't be dethroned!:)

Hi Girls,
Yesterday and today were very busy. I hosted a Silpada open house yesterday at our house. I invited many people from work, friends and neighbors. I had a nice turn-out, but it was a lot of work to get ready for. Being a rep for that company is my 2nd job, but it's not really like a job because I do it when I want to. Anyway, after that, we went to my parent's house, and that is about 1 hour away. My sister and I went out and got pedicures, and she paid for that AND bought me this awesome Vera Bradley bag for my birthday (June 20th).
Today, we went to my cousin's son's baptism, then to a party in honor of the little guy, then to see my FIL, then home to unpack and clean up from yesterday. I did not get workouts in since Friday due to getting ready for this weekend, but I feel that I went through the ringer!
It's still hot and humid here, but we are going to be getting a break on Tuesday with weather in the low 70s-I can't wait!

Kate-This weekend, today especially, my ab area feels so tight and stretched to the max. It also kind of hurts a little. Is this how you felt? I feel like I am way popping out there for 5 1/2 months. I thought of you when I saw my cousin's friend who is a toothpick. She is pregnant with her 4th, due in early September, and looks about 3 months pregnant and about 110 pounds!!!!!!!!!!! I felt like a cow next to her!

Kristan-I hope you enjoyed your alone time at the pool. When are you due? Did you read my posting in a previous post this week about the tick I had? I think it was a posting from Thursday or Friday of last week.

Melanie-I have yet to make those muffins. I know that you are DH are going through a rough time with the house. You will do what is right for you.

Maggie-I have also been cleaning the house like a madwoman since last week. It seems like I have to constantly mop the kitchen and bathroom floors and dry mop the wood floors. I have so much to organize too.

Lisa-Where did you get the cute clothes? I have been finding great deals at Gap.com. I signed up for a credit card a few months ago, and they offer great deals through that. I pay my balance off right away, but the deals are still offered. Everything I like at oldnavy.com is always sold out.

Mikkia-Sorry to hear that you threw up-that's the worst! Are you feeling better? I have a sister who is a doctor, and that IS so nice to have in the family. A husband who is a dr. would be even better, though. You're lucky!

Susan-Wow-it sounds brutally hot where you are. I hope you get the same break in the heat that we'll be getting this week. I am glad to hear that you are feeling better.

Hi Lorren-Your home birth sounds neat. For me, I was lucky to be in a hospital b/c my son got stuck in my pelvis, and it wasn't a good scene.

Trish-Did you get to swim today?

Morris-I know that you are crazy busy right now. We'd love to hear from you when you get a chance. I want to know all about what it's like so far going from one to two kids (b/c that will be me in a few months). How are you feeling?

Hi Candra, Hi Anne!

-Jen

My goodness, Jen! What a busy weekend! What is Silpada though? The ab feeling is EXACTLY what I was experiencing. It is NOT comfortable to say the least. It helps to keep off your feet.
