I agree that a daily check-in might be good. This check-in is growing and that's a good thing, but it is a lot to scroll through all the posts
.
Okay, I really do have a minute now. Life has been totally crazy with testing and dr's and dentist appt's, but things should slow down next week. I was going to post last weeks workouts, but now I can't really remember what I did--circuits and walking. Dh and I celebrated our 15yr anniversery a little early last weekend:* :* :* . And I've begun nesting, I guess. Usually by the end of the school year the house is way out of control and this year is no exception, so I've started the crazy mad process of going through every room systematically to try and regain some control. It must be done.
Kate--bummer on the diastis. I don't know much about it and I think it kind of sucks when all the information is conflicting. That makes an issue all the more confusing. Keep us posted on that. And a roast beef sandwich sounds really good right now.
Trish--sorry about the hot and humid weather. It has been unseasonably cold and rainy here (heavenly weather in my opinion). Your kids are the ages mine were when I was expecting my 4th child.
Jen--everything is irritating my belly right now. At home, I just want to walk around with my shirt above it and my pants below it--exposed! It's not a pretty sight and the kids keep drawing faces on it...
Lisa--I love feeling the baby move. How far along are you now?
Kristan--I was definitely more tired when I had Evangeline (37) and with this baby (I'll be 40 in a couple of weeks). Dh and ds had a really good time at Rush. They were dh's first concert when he was about ds's age, and this was ds's first concert. They were very polished and professional and played for about 3 hours. I was a real metal head in high school/college, so while I liked Rush I was never into them the same way dh was/is (Now I'd love to take ds to see Iron Maiden in two months, but not 9 months pregnant
)
Melanie--I'm sorry about the housing woes. My brother is a mortgage guy and things are tight for him right now. It must be pretty much all over the US. Hang in there--sounds like you've got a lot on your plate. I'll be praying for you.
Morris--you will be running again in no time. Sorry that you and dh are having issues. That must be unsettling. I'll pray about that too. I'm sure everything will be fine with your ultrasound--I always measure way, way ahead--just my pattern.
Mikkia--morning sickness and Disney World--oh my, I don't know how I'd survive all the smells. I have no advice--only a (((hug))).
Candra--congrats on the 3rd boy. Boys have their issues, but atleast you won't have to deal with those lovely female hormones that start to blossom around age 11 (at least around here). I hope your foot is okay--keep us posted.
Susan--(((hugs))--Please keep us posted on all the blood work and such. I think spotting in early pregnancy is fairly common and not necessarily cause for worry. Welcome.
Stephanie--3 boys for you too--I have 3 boys, but I also have 3 girls and am expecting another girl (the tie-breaker
). I think your baby is probably fine. The quad screen is pretty accurate. I do have a child with downs, but my test results put me at a much higher risk of downs+the heart defect they found during the ultrasound put me at a 10-20% risk. I was fairly prepared for him. But I hear of issues like yours all the time and the baby is healthy, so please don't worry.
If I didn't get everyone--I totally apologize.
take care, all
Maggie
