Welcome, Lisa (Marie)--we have to have a way to distinguish you from the other Lisa. My boobs really stretched out when my milk came in with my first baby. I went from an A/B to a D. Oh well, the kidlets are worth it and thank goodness for push-up bras.
Kristan--I just did our taxes with turbo tax Grrrrr.....that's all I'm going to say about that.
Morris--I'm so sad for your parents and for you and your siblings. This is not going to be an easy time. Family break ups just suck--my parent's divorce was necessary, because my father was a very abusive man; but the fall out was awful, because his family closed ranks around him and basically cut us off. It was devastating. So I think it's always hard. You are in my prayers.
Kate--I've gained so much weight that I won't stand on the scales anymore--too demoralizing! I think it's around 25 lbs and I'm only 17 weeks. This is a typical pattern for me, however, so how I thought I'd avoid it this time around, I don't know. I typically gain around 65 lbs and then lose it all within a year post partum. (The exception was my 4th pregnancy--long story). It's funny--as soon as I deliver, my appetite goes back to normal and I can restrict my calorie intake with no horrible discomfort, but when I'm pregnant, it's like something inside of me is broken and all I can do is eat. sigh......
So none of you should feel bad about weight gain, just think of me and you'll feel better:7
