Hi everyone--
The barbarian hordes are upstairs eating breakfast and it all seems relatively calm, so hopefully I have time to post.
Melanie--I don't know if you'll need a break from this forum or not. I probably would, but what ever you choose, know that you have been in my prayers and our family prayed for you last night during our devotions. I also want to stress with the others that this is not your fault. (((hugs)))
Kate--it's good to have you back safely. I can't wait to hear more. I suspect there are pictures somewhere on the forums, but I haven't go around to looking at them yet.
Kristan--Sorry about the bleeding--I've done that to (stopped, over did it, and started again). See, that's the trick about having a larger family--you learn to delegate. My older ones not only help with dressing, but with car seats, and getting drinks and snacks for the little ones. It's good for them and it's good for me. I try not to "over load" them with responsibility, because I don't want them to feel resentful. So far all 3 big ones want there own large families. They really enjoy having the younger sibs, even though it means some sacrifice.
Stephanie--I'm about to quit working out. I usually stop at 38 weeks, but I really don't want to have permanant back pain. We'll all get it back post partum, right? Ooooh--I want a fun Saturday like yours
.
Jen--hurray on the potty training. I'll bet he'll get it totally within the next few months. We always stressed being "big" like daddy or like Gabe (the big brother in the home).
Lisa--sorry to hear about your back pain. It really sucks. I just don't want it to be permanant. I know from experience that cardio capacity and strength can be regained fairly quickly--our muscles seem to "remember", so let's all just keep that in mind
.
Morris--good to hear from you. It sounds like your workouts are fantastic. I'll bet you are totally back in pre preg condition. Glad your little ones are doing well and thriving.
Susan--Oh my--your dh will have you all to himself for a week? Have fun
. Someday, dh and I would like a long weekend with no kiddos....maybe in a couple of years? Anyway--I hope you get some alone time and enjoy yourself--do some things that you normally wouldn't get to do.
Jenm--I hate waking up in the dark!
Candra--Good to hear from you!
Hi Trish! Hi Anne! Hi Mikki!
