TTC/Preg Check in June 29th

Cathlete
Happy Sunday. It's so nice to see the sun out today. This means we'll be able to go back to the fair & DH & I can ride the ferris wheel (how romantic).

Today is my last day off before working a long stretch of days. I plan to take my much soughted 2 hour naps throughout the day and relax as much as possible.

I got 4 workouts in last week. Yahoo! 3 ellipticals and Ready, Step Go! by Kelly Coffer or however you spell her name. :) I imagine I'll continue with my elliptical workouts for now. It'd be nice to push the boys in the jogging stroller, but my 4 year old doesn't really like it anymore.

I will check back later---hi Anne, Maggie, Lisa, Kate, Mikkia, Kristan (you still here?), Trish, Stephanie, Susan, Jen & all you lurkers!!!

Good Morning!
Hope everyone is feeling good today. Melanie-enjoy your naps and the ferris wheel!
I took another preg test last night just to see if it was finally negative. Nope it was still positive and dark. I know these tests detect as low as 20..so Im just hoping my levels are still dropping. This has just been going on too long! Ok enough complaining.

Our "sleepover" was fun last night...but I do like my bed better than the floor! DD had fun and thats the important thing.

We are getting a little cold front and its delightful outside. Low humidity and in the low 70s right now..ahhh gotta love it after 95's everyday. DH went fishing at 5 this AM with his brother, but will be home around 9. We are planning a family bike ride today.

I intend to do some sort of weight workout in a little bit..not sure what yet though.

Melanie~def. get your nap in.. rest up because your work schedule is crazy!

Susan~a family bike ride sounds really nice as does your weather!

I got a 5 mile run in this morning. I am finding that running 3 laps around my yard (about .4 of a mile) and then walking 1 lap (about .13 of a mile) seems to be working great right now so that is what I did today. Felt great. Then I came in and did some weights. I didn't do Pyramid. I am not sure why I can't seem to get motivated to do a video. I got my free weights out and did biceps, tricpes, shoulders, back and then some lunges, squats, and rear leg lifts. It takes me about 20 mins to do that and I am good. Oh well at least I did something. Now maybe a walk later, but not sure. I've been potty training Landon yesterday evening and today. Just got the motivation up and decided to do it. Yesterday we had 3 pees in the potty and this morning we had 1 pee in the potty, then when I was outside running he was in underwear and he peed in them, but he was running for the potty ( we took it outside) and said pee in the potty) So i just took the underwear off nad let him go naked. Then he peed in the grass. AFter coming inside he peed 3x in the potty on his own.. I didn' have to bug him he just sat on it and went. Then he went into his room and pooped on the floor. LOL I just left him naked all day. When he wakes from his nap I will get him naked again since that seems to be working well.

Just got my nap in, only one though---we spent the AM at church & early PM at fair. The ferris wheel was closed b/c it was a little windy. We had fun, but I as exhausted. I ate lots of fare food: cotton candy, cheese curds, gyro & fries, lemon ade and fried oreos. Yummy!

My oldest boys need me, chat later!

Okay Melanie that is not fair!! Our fair isn't till late august and we'll miss it since we are moving.. I SOOO love the fair food.. the fries are the best.. They cut the potato there and do them fresh.. yum! Funnel cakes are amazing.. DH loves the candy apples.. I hope we have a fair at the new place. Sounds like you had a fun day!

Hey Trish and Melanie,
Things are slow around here today!
I have never had a funnel cake..is that sad or what. We are heading out to eat chinese...I"ll have a nice bloat in a few hours!
Hope everyone has had a good day!

I've never had funnel cake, either. Is it like angel food cake?...b/c I don't like angel/devel foods cake. My friend dropped of some Schwann's Spinich & Mushroom pizzas to top off my junk food day!!!!

This is our first year here, and our town has about 1200 people in it. I was pretty impressed with it's fare, for such a small town. It's a HUGE tourist area, so I suppose they can justify it that way. I easily spent $150 though! Next weekend is the 4th of July batch and a couple weeks ago was Walleye Days. A person would go super broke if they did everything. I do hope to see the fireworks though, we haven't gone in many many years and they are suppose to be fun.

Trish, it's kinda fun moving somewhere new and learning all about their activities & how they celebrate things. Where are you moving to again? Any news on your showing? Was this your first showing? We haven't had any this week, which makes things easier for our decision not to continue on the payments. I really feel good about this, as we made payments for over a year, never thought waterfront property wouldn't sell. :( Anywho, time to move on. :)

Hi,
I am ready for the sack! We got home this afternoon around 2:00p.m. We had some lunch, then DS went for a late nap and so did DH and I. I slept for 2 hours. I don't know what it is about the weekend, but I like my naps! I didn't do any exercise these past two days, and I feel like a beached whale! I AM going to do ME tomorrow plus a walk.

Trish-OH, how I wish my DS would pee on the potty. I see small steps towards actually being potty trained, but not yetx( . He peed two times in our living room last week when I had him naked. He's been putting all of his stuffed animals on the potty though, and he claps for them when they "go", so he definitely knows what to do, he is just strong willed (like me);-) .

Melanie-Funnel cakes are a must at PA fairs. It is kind of like fried dough, if you ever had that (definitely clean eating}( ). Anyway, to make a funnel cake...dough is put in a funnel then poured from the funnel in really hot oil. The dough is instantly fried, and it takes on whatever shape it was poured in the oil (it's in a circle shape, but the inside is all doodly). Then, it's removed from oil, put on a paper plate and topped with powdered sugar. I love pumpkin flavored ones too.

Susan-I am sorry to hear that this is not resolved for you yet. Maybe you should contact your dr. again.

Kristan-Are you hanging in there?

Hi to everyone else!
-Jen

NOOO funnel cakes to me are more like homemade doughnuts.. if you've ever made those? Take the pillbury rolls from a can and deep fry them.. (I know reallly bad for you, but good) Well funnel cakes are more like that.. they put the powdered sugar on top. Very good!

We still hvae no idea where we are going. DH graduates in 33 days so we have to find out soon. Technically they can not tell him till the day he gradutates, but more than likely it will be sooner than later. I am sorta on hold till we finid out.. then once I know where we are going I can see what I need to do to get Hunter enrolled in school there, find out if we can get on base housing or not.. if not I have to try to find a place off base till we can get on base. Check into preschools for Madison.. all that fun stuff, but right now it's just sorta a standstill. I have been packing a box or so a day trying to get a head start. We are praying for Georgia or Alabama. It could be anywhere though.. even overseas to Germnay or Japan, Italy.. I really pray not because that scares me to ahve a baby overeases, but wherever they say we are going we gotta go.

Wow Trish, military families really amaze me! Will they take over your house issues then, if it doesn't sell?
