Cathlete
Good morning! Today is my only day off of work & I'm already exhausted! Ha Ha Yesterday I got two power naps in & that felt wonderful. We have church & then maybe pool time later. I need to finish our laundry too.

I"m not sure if I'll w/o today or not, I'll have to play it by ear.

Anyone have anything fun planned for the day?

Enjoy your day off Melanine you deserve it! We might do the pool ourselves. I am debating it.. it's either go to the pool or take a nap. Both sound equally great at the moment. LOL

My next appt is tomorrow and i get the "big" u/s. I pray this wee one is still a girl. lol I am also nervous that something is going to be wrong and I'll be there alone, but praying all is well. Thank goodness my appt is 10am so I don't have to wait all day. my mil is coming to watch the kids and I am also going ot Kohls and costco. I also might have to get the 5th's disease bloodwork again.

I got a good 5 miles in this morning. I did alternate in some fast walking just because I felt my breathing was fast, but no pain so that is good!
Hope everyone is having a great day!

Wow-it's quiet today! DS is taking a nap, so I have some time. Melanie-thanks for the advice on the p.training. It does get frustrating sometimes.
It is hot here too, so thinking about Hershey Park later. We have passes, and they pay off after about 3 visits. I'll get a nice walk in then.
Not much going on here. I did P90X shoulders and arms lastnight. My arms feel so flabby (and so does the rest of my body). On Friday night, I did Crunch Yoga Mama (or something like that). It was a watch instantly pick on Netflix. It was not hard, but it felt good to stretch.
Keep cool today!

Melanie, Enjoy your day off! Your pants are tight because you're PREGNANT, silly! This is your 4th baby and the relaxin is doing its job to soften your muscles and ligaments. Enjoy it and slap on some maternity duds!:)

Trish, 5 miles is great! Keeping fingers and toes crossed for a helathy baby girl tomorrow!

Jen, I understand about feeling flabby. I'm not lifting as much/as often as I was and my cardio intensity is def. down. Weight gain is good but I'm really looking forward to STS! Have fun at Hershey Park! There was an article about a new ride there in Popular MEchanics Dh was reading last ngiht - sounds like fun - I'm a total roller coaster junkie!

Feeling good and this baby is squirmin'! She is so active lately. I love it!

Kate-
I love coasters too. The new one is called Farenheit, and according to my DH, it's great. I just ride the merry-go-round, the train and the skyride and the monorail for now. The water part is good too. Next year, I will back to the crazy rides.

My little baby is kicking up a storm too, and it is always in the same spotx( . The other night, he was in a little ball on the right side.

Trish-great run!
Melanie-getting big is a good sign:) .

So soon?!?!? I have always been able to wait until 20th week to wear maternity pants. I"m wondering if I might be farther alone than suspected? I'll have to get an u/s so I can know for sure. Maybe it'll be a summer baby. ;)

Hey Melanie, Trish, Jen and Kate!
Hope everyone has had a good weekend. We had a blast with our friends. THey are gone and dh is headed to Dallas for a Monday meeting. I ate myself sick on cake and cookies and now Im feeling sick. The 2 lbs I lost last week is back and then some..YUCK..but we had a nice visit.
Trish I'll be thinking about you at 10 tomorrow. I pray all is well for you!
I need some ttc'ers here too! Calling all ttc'ers come and chat!!!!!!!!!!
Well I have loads of chores to do. bbl

Susan, this has been a super fertile check in site. Morris, Lisa, many other mom's were X-TTCers. You & Anne are next!

Must be lots of busy moms today. DH went and got a dishwasher, so now we have to get a plumber to install.

The movers promised my elliptical will be here tomorrow. I'm contemplating working out right now, but I"m just so fatigued,...not sleepy fatigue---just lazy like I can't do anything. It's frustrating b/c I"m such a busy beaver normally.

Just relax Melanie. Your energy will come back soon.
I lurked here for many months before I checked in and I saw everything that Ann went through. I sooooo hope she can get pregnant soon again and everything go great! Maybe we WILL be next!

Jen, Mine hangs out on the right too!

Melanie, I have NEVER been able to wait that late for maternity clothes! WOW! My DH is a plumbing contractor - too bad we aren't closer or I'd send one of our guys over to you! Hope your ell. comes!

Susan, Glad you had a good weekend! I'm sure you didn't gain 2lbs of fat in a weekend though! Watch the carbs and it will fall right off.

DDs will go to bed soon. I'm hoping to muster some energy for a workout. Oh, and the (**(^ dog just popped my stability ball! Good thing I have a second one!

Melanie-Lazy is my middle name today. I swore I wouldn't take a nap, but I did. I also didn't workout either. We had planned to go to Hershey Park, but then some bad thunderstorms came through. I think I have been eating WAY too many carbs! Time to cut down on them. I am usually so busy and full of energy too.

Kate-My cat popped my ball a few years ago:( . I did get another one, though.

I feel like I could go to bed and sleep till tomorrow, and it's only 7:45p.m.

Hi everyone--It's been warmer here and I've had to start making "ice" mittens for my extremely hot feet. I googled pregnancy and hot feet and found a few strange souls like me, but it is not a common symptom. My altoid addiction is out of control. The cravings are so bad. Dh bought me a pack from Costco and I'm ashamed to tell him how many boxes I've gone through:p :p :p .

Anyway, my workouts for the week (back is feeling better--I guess I just have to be super-careful and not overdo it)

GS Ch/tri
Tracy's walking workout (name?), marching on the floor (hangs head in shame)
Heavy legs and shoulders on my own in garage with smith machine
1 hour very slow walk on treadmill at 10%incline--watched Amy's hi/lo knockout--will I ever be able to do hi/lo again? sigh.....
Body fusion with leg work instead of whatever Cathe was doing+heavy back and biceps on my own

Melanie--I always have a bump at 8 weeks. I'm out of my regular clothes almost immediately. It's demoralizing. Maybe if this is out of the ordinary for you, you are farther along than you think. That would be nice;). Hope your elliptical finally comes.

Candra--It's nice you have such a close relationship with your brother. I used to have a close one with mine, but he's withdrawn over the years and has little interest in me. I'm tired of carrying the weight of it all and feeling totally rejected. Ooops, I'm sounding like a bummer...anyhoo--I'm sorry about how hot you've got it. Here I am complaining that we are hovering in the high 80's--I'm such a wimp!

Kate--glad you had such a good time at the zoo. Maybe I'll take ours to the zoo soon for a change of scenery. And the dog pooped on your stability ball? time for a new dog (just kidding:+ :p }( ) Dh and kiddos want a dog so bad. I'm less enthusiastic, but it looks like I'll be outvoted....

Trish--cool that you can crochet! I wish I could. I had to be tested for 5ths disease my last pregnancy. After I thoroughly examined the statistics regarding the risks, I felt much better. You are probably fine. I'll pray for peace regarding your ultra-sound. Let us know how it goes.

Jen--I definitely think you and dh should be on the same page regarding the potty training. And Melanie is right. Eventually social pressures will kick in and he will be trained. It sounds like a matter of his will rather than not understanding how the process works. (if I'm wrong, forgive my presumption) This is just a season and it will pass. Remember, when he's in his 20's, no one will care whether he was potty trained at 18 months or at 4 yrs.

Susan--I'm sure you did not eat 7,000 extra calories, okay? It's just water weight due to all those refined carbs. A couple days of clean eating and working out and you'll be back down to where you were.

Morris---Where are you?

Hi everyone else--Dh is cooking me meat (which I've been craving--we've been eating tons of soup around here, because it is so cheap) and he's hollering at me. I've got to eat quick, because I have to go back to church and do evening childcare.

Kate, we'll wait for you and your family for the dishwasher. How fast can you make it?

How soon do ya'll normally wear maternity clothes?

I had some diarrhea earlier (probably from my Mexican lunch) & then I sweated thru a workout. My hump is gone for now. ;) I checked my weight logs from pg 2 & 3 and I'm at the weight I'm normally at week 14, so not too happy about that. I had to work soooooo hard to lose weight after #3, and am determined to keep things under wraps this time. Of course DH just tells me there must be a "big boy" in there!!!!!!!!! Brat!!!!

I really like my stability ball (and boys do too). I got if for Chrismtmas in 1998---the first year I started working out.

July 15th will be 10 years I'l smoke-free. I think I just justified my elliptical purchase!!!

Jen, that baby must be growing! Take your naps and ENJOY THEM! I know I do!

Maggie, I love your ice mittens and altoids! That's great! At least you're not craving butterscotch chips like I am! Trying *really hard* to not eat them! No, he didn't POOP on the ball!! LOL! He POPPED it! Go for the dog!!! The kids would love it! May I vote for a Great Dane for you? We have our second one and they are THE BEST with kids! I should post a pic of our beastie! I've been a meat girl this pg too. I can't get enough steak, which I rarely used to eat. I think my body knows it needs the iron.

Melanie, I forget which state you're in. We're in Michigan but we have guys coming and going to Wyoming all the time. Any chance you're on that route?:)
Good luck with your week this week! Hope you get some hotel time!
