Hi everyone--It's been warmer here and I've had to start making "ice" mittens for my extremely hot feet. I googled pregnancy and hot feet and found a few strange souls like me, but it is not a common symptom. My altoid addiction is out of control. The cravings are so bad. Dh bought me a pack from Costco and I'm ashamed to tell him how many boxes I've gone through
.
Anyway, my workouts for the week (back is feeling better--I guess I just have to be super-careful and not overdo it)
GS Ch/tri
Tracy's walking workout (name?), marching on the floor (hangs head in shame)
Heavy legs and shoulders on my own in garage with smith machine
1 hour very slow walk on treadmill at 10%incline--watched Amy's hi/lo knockout--will I ever be able to do hi/lo again? sigh.....
Body fusion with leg work instead of whatever Cathe was doing+heavy back and biceps on my own
Melanie--I always have a bump at 8 weeks. I'm out of my regular clothes almost immediately. It's demoralizing. Maybe if this is out of the ordinary for you, you are farther along than you think. That would be nice
. Hope your elliptical finally comes.
Candra--It's nice you have such a close relationship with your brother. I used to have a close one with mine, but he's withdrawn over the years and has little interest in me. I'm tired of carrying the weight of it all and feeling totally rejected. Ooops, I'm sounding like a bummer...anyhoo--I'm sorry about how hot you've got it. Here I am complaining that we are hovering in the high 80's--I'm such a wimp!
Kate--glad you had such a good time at the zoo. Maybe I'll take ours to the zoo soon for a change of scenery. And the dog pooped on your stability ball? time for a new dog (just kidding:+
}( ) Dh and kiddos want a dog so bad. I'm less enthusiastic, but it looks like I'll be outvoted....
Trish--cool that you can crochet! I wish I could. I had to be tested for 5ths disease my last pregnancy. After I thoroughly examined the statistics regarding the risks, I felt much better. You are probably fine. I'll pray for peace regarding your ultra-sound. Let us know how it goes.
Jen--I definitely think you and dh should be on the same page regarding the potty training. And Melanie is right. Eventually social pressures will kick in and he will be trained. It sounds like a matter of his will rather than not understanding how the process works. (if I'm wrong, forgive my presumption) This is just a season and it will pass. Remember, when he's in his 20's, no one will care whether he was potty trained at 18 months or at 4 yrs.
Susan--I'm sure you did not eat 7,000 extra calories, okay? It's just water weight due to all those refined carbs. A couple days of clean eating and working out and you'll be back down to where you were.
Morris---Where are you?
Hi everyone else--Dh is cooking me meat (which I've been craving--we've been eating tons of soup around here, because it is so cheap) and he's hollering at me. I've got to eat quick, because I have to go back to church and do evening childcare.
