Today I work my 2nd job, and it's only a 9hr day, so I get to sleep in. :) I"m going try to do Turbo Jam CP 1 this AM. I feel slightly guilty as my house is totally trashed & I won't be able to straighten up b4 work if I exercise. Oh well, it's been almost a week!!!!!
I'll check back later to see what all you rounded belly ladies are up to. ;)

Good Morning!
Melanie-have a great workout! I have been thinkiing of trying out some Turbo Jams. Do you really like them? Seems to me staying in a hotel for a few days would cost less than the gas you'll be using. Hopefully your dh will come around to the idea.
Don't feel guilty at all for working out. The hours you work/drive you deserve a little time for YOU. Isnt your dh a house husband? Maybe he can help straighten up??

I have been up since 4 with a neckache! I had neck surgery a few years ago and Im getting that some familiar pain again. I know its the disc below the one I had fixed. I must sleep in a wierd position because its when I wake-up that I hurt!

My company comes this afternoon so today will be doing last minute things to get ready. I will tidy up and make a pie for sure.

Hope all the preggos are feeling good.

Oh..I see "2WW" alot on ttc boards. Does anyone know what that means?

Morning-just a quick post before I go to the airport. Having another big freak thunderstorm, both of the kids are scared and under the table in the study right now. They are waiting under the table for a tornado. We lived in Kansas for 7 years whole my husband was a resident and they didn't forget about that part!!!
Melanie-A hotel sounds like a fab idea. Is it the cost he is worried about or the extra responsiblility? Or both? I hope it works out for you!
Susan-what kind of pie are you making? do you have a specialty? Hope your neck feels better. I also don't know what 2WW means!
Talk to you all Wed! Please wish the nausea and fatigue monster away for me!

Melanie, NO GUILT for exercising!!! If you don't take care of yourself you won't be able to take care of anything/one.
Susan, Sorry about the neckache. Sounds painful. That pie smells delish!
Mikkia, Have a GREAT time! Nausea monster GO AWAY!!!!

Slow day planned here. Def. a workout though - I'm feeling smooshy!

2WW= 2 week wait It's the period of time after ovulation before your period,...essentially you're waiting 2 weeks to see if you get your period/or your pregnant.

Thanks for encouragement ladies. I would miss my kids so terribly if I didn't see them all day. DH is thinking of the kids (and himself b/c he'd have to put them to bed at night). I've been driving around like this for a year now and have only spent the night once when there was a snowstorm. I don't get much sympathy from DH when I'm pg & tired. He just doesn't get it. I'll play it by ear and see how I feel, but will pack an overnight bag just in case. There wasn't a night this week that I haven't driven home and felt like I might fall asleep during my 90 minute drive. It's scarey.

New symptom: leg cramps. Comes from lack of milk, no doubt. I always have milk aversion during pgs.

Well, I'm off to work. My kids haven't even woke up yet. :( Now I know why they don't go to sleep until 1100 at night!!!!!!!!

Mikkia, have lots of fun at Disney,...you'll be so busy you won't even remember your pg!

Susan, Neckaches suck! I slept on the couch lastnight & I feel really old this AM!

Kate, enjoy your muffins!

Chat later!

Melanie, Good luck with your decision for next week. Sorry about the legs and lack of sleep. Hopefully something happens with the house and things can move ahead.

Hi everyone. I had my dr. appt yesterday. I am a fingertip dialated and very soft, but that's it (but that's good for me). I am 38 weeks. A quick u/s revealed good fluid and the head has moved down just a little.

Big monkey wrench: my friend and her husband (my ob) called yesterday morning. My ob was on a trail run and fell forward and ruptured his triceps, requiring surgical repair. Right now he cannot use his left arm which could be a big problem in delivering a baby! The plan is to see how he is in a week and then decide if he'll require his partner ob to assist in delivery (ob will be there regardless, which is very comforting since I am a VBAC).

I'll have another u/s next week to assess size.

I went to target and the grocery store to 'stock up' before baby. I spent....$850 at the two places! I about hyperventiliated. and I even had a 10% coupon off at Target! Now I have to put it all away and the kids are rooting through it all opening up all the intereresting items.

Maggie- what a scary story with the kids running off. I guess those drug dealer neighbors have a responsible side to them.

Mikkia and others- the small town thing would drive me crazy. Many of my college friends grew up in little towns and were always terrified of getting 'caught" doing something that could make its way back "in town."

workouts: I ran/walked/ran stairs on Monday and did 4ds low impact circuit on Tuesday. That may be it for the week. I'd like to get in 4ds legs and some swimming.

WO is DONE!!!! DDs were outside playing in their sand pit so I took the opportunity to do 4DS KB cardio. They came in and wanted to get in the Jacuzzi so I did KM leg drills while they're scrubbing up!! I feel so productive!

Kristan, I'm sure all will workout with the ob. I would be concerned too though. yay on the dilation! MY WORD WOMAN - What did you buy!?!:) Good job on the WO's - not sure I'll be doing too much by 38 weeks, but I hope to!

Kate glad you got your workout done! I did SuperSets today...I never feel really worked out after that one, but at least I did something!

Melanie-thank you for clearing up what 2ww means.

Hi guys! Happy Friday!

Melanie--I'm in the same boat as far as the house is concerned. I'm waiting for the nesting part of pregnancy to kick into full gear. I've had spurts of nesting vibes, but not enough to get some real work done around here! But you have your plate full and should definitely take time for yourself before your house. Sorry about your leg aches. I hope they go away soon!

Susan--Chocolate pie sounds divine!!! I hope your neck pain gets better soon.

Mikkia--I hope you guys weather the storm. It looks like rain here and I can't decide whether to go to visit my mom or not. She lives 40 minutes away, and I don't want us to go if it's going to rain (I'm a chicken when it comes to driving in the rain).

Kate--A slow day sounds like fun. And I am sure you are not smooshy!

Kristan--That's terrible about your OB! I hope he feels better soon! I LOL about the Target trip. We are planning to go today because my 10 percent coupon came in the mail this week and we need a new infant carseat and a new changing table. DH made a changing table/chest of drawers for my other two sons, but I converted it into a chest of drawers and it looks too good in their room now to put it in the baby's room, so we're going to buy a cheap changing table this time around. And Target also has a great deal on diapers right now ($10 giftcard when you buy two jumbo packs), plus I have a pampers coupon. So, we're going to spend a small fortune there tonight too!!

Well, I'm off to check the weather to decide if we're going to "MeeMee's" house today. Hope you all have a great Friday!! :)

Susan, I haven't done SS in a while...

Stephanie, NEsting vibe spurts here, but I think it's more because its Gina's summer vacation and I'm home more to get things done. Have fun Targetmaxing tonight!

I've got that wicked rd. lig. pain again - wish it would stop but I think it's going to haunt me for the next 4 months. I'll go to the chiro this afternoon to get some relief for the weekend. Maybe I'll do some Classical Stretch and see if I can pull it out on my own.

Hi,
I am enjoying some quiet time as my DS naps and my DH isn't home from teaching summer school yet.Oh, and it's my birthday today too. Big 33! I took a long walk lastnight after class. One minute I was jamming out to to a Whitesnake song (it's on my 80s playlist:D ). The next minute, my knees were hitting the street as I fell. I still have no clue what happened. I got up right away, no one saw (at least I don't think they did), and aside from a scraped up knee, I am fine. I never fell when I was pregnant before. Have any of you? I am also getting hip pain while sleeping too. Strange.
I plan to do ME today.

My DS was naked for about 1 1/2 hours this morning, and he didn't go on the potty, but didn't have any accidents either. Everytime I reminded him to go on the potty if he felt he had to, he yelled "NO!" I put a diaper on him for the store/errands.

Susan-Sorry about the neckache. I hope it goes away soon.

Kristan-Good news on the baby, but horrible news about the OB. So, you are going with a VBAC? How many c-sections did you have? I had an emergency one with DS, and I am STILL not sure what to do with this one. I don't want to go through labor again, only to have another emergency c-section. but, on the other hand, if a c-section is not necessary, I don't want one. I hear and read so many conflicting things!

Mikkia-Have fun at Disney. I was never there ,but hope to someday.

Melanie-I love TJs! I just did CP the other night (the one with the red cover). I hope your leg cramps don't last too long.

Kate-Yeah for getting your WO in already!

-Jen

Happy Birthday Jen!!:+ I Hope your knees are OK.. I have never fallen while preg. Im sure everything is fine though

Jen, Happy Bday!!! Any plans to celebrate? Sorry about the fall! My MIL tells a stort abouther being very pg and fallin flat on her stomach/face. All was fine. I love ME - good burner! A little step in the rigth direction for DS. One thing that's been good for us is to reward with drinks. Get his fave drinks and have him drink ALL THE TIME. Reward him for going potty on the toilet with them and console his "misses" with them. The more they have to pee, the more practice they'll get. My midwives are totally for VBACs. I like to think I would do it.

Hi Susan!

I just got our Durango completely vacuumed out - that was a workout! Sheesh! Acrobatics to get all the nooks and crannies. We were blasting Disney tunes and DDs really got into it!

Hi Ladies,

Just sitting here surfing while the kids nap...thought i would pop in and say hi!

you all are so motivated with your workouts!keep up the good work-mabe when some of you have had the babies i will join your post partum check-in.i might actually be wroking out then...lol!i have been taking it easy so far...:D

Steph did you workout today???
I am officially ready for my comapany. They are on their way and should be here by 6. Since we have lived here I have not gone out of my way to make friends, so Im looking forward to seeing them.

I have finally stopped bleeding..I hope anyway. Now I gotta get back to work getting pregnant. I am really discouraged though being 41 and haveing 2 m/c but I am trying again!

Hello Lorren and Stephanie!

Susan, Have fun tonight. Glad the spotting stopped. Try to enjoy your "work".}( *getting* pg is supposed to be fun! Tho I do remember trying for Gina for so long and there was not much fun about it. (((hugs)))

Stephanie- please find a way to spend more than I did. I'll feel much better about myself.

Kate- no idea what I bought. there were no 'big ticket' items- just a lot of little stuff. No clothes, no make up, etc.

Jen- I've fallen bunches of times pregnant. I think unless you go down a flight of stairs you're body is well equipped to protect the baby. re vbac- my first was emergency (failed induction/baby in distress), my seocnd was a vbac, and the third was a planned c/s on my due date (which was a mistake; i signed up for the c/s thinking the baby was 11 pounds- wrong- just 9 pounds). I much preferred the vbac- much easier and I had fewer complications. My c/s had lots of issues with clotting and hemorrhaging (sp?).
