Hi everyone--
I'm trying to get motivated to start my day. I did devotions with the kiddos--the older 3 and I are memorizing John 1:1-14 and I did a partial cleaning of the kitchen which is really gross right now, because all my energy has been deep cleaning other rooms.
Today, I'll finish putting up the freshly washed drapes (I'm so glad I got machine washable ones), wash the living room windows and set the kids to scrubbing the really kind of icky hardwood floors. I will pay them for this job, because it is extra large--then the living room will be done!
But now I'm posting
Melanie--((((hugs))) on the nausea on top of everything else you are going through right now (double mortgage, long hours, etc). I think the nausea stage is total survival mode--you gotta eat what you can eat, whether it's taco dip or chinese food or bbq chips--hang in there.
Kate--great job on the caffeine--I used to be a huge coffee drinker, but it totally grosses me out during the first half of pregnancy. I haven't started up again because caffeine aggrevates dh's arthritis and having it around makes a stumbling block for him. boy I'd love a cup right now
Susan--I nursed 5 out of the six for 17-24 months. Our little boy with downs was tube fed for about a year. I pumped for 9 months and then just couldn't do it anymore. Your 3 years doesn't make me cringe at all.
Mikkia--I'm laughing with disbelief over the receptionist calling everyone about you puking. The nerve of her! Doesn't she have work to do? That is so bizarre. I'm sorry you feel so bad. And it sounds like you are sooooo busy. I do hope you can enjoy your trip. When I have morning sickness, all I want to do is lie in bed and feel crappy. (((hugs)))
Stephanie--you and I WILL be back in our size 6 jeans, yes? It will take a while for me, but I'm determined. I'm sorry people are making the comments on your 3rd boy. I always say that God knows best what we need for our family--and it's 3 sons for you--what a blessing.
Trish--the muffins are delicious and quite versatile as many of us have played with the recipe somewhat. I'm sorry about all the uncertainty regarding your next move with your dh in the military and all. That would be very hard for me too. I'll pray for your peace of mind and that all goes smoothly during this time of transition and uncertainty. (((hugs)))
Jen--sorry about the potty training. I usually did put my kids in a diaper when we were out and about. I think the fact that he is frusterated with himself is a good sign rather than not caring at all. Hang in there--it will come. My comment about the book was kind of snotty and I was just trying to be funny--there really is nothing wrong with seeking all sorts of advice.
Lisa--I miss sleeping on my stomach! I hope you find that body pillow soon.
Hi Anne! Hi Kristan! Hi Morris! Hi Alicia! Hi Candra!
take care all--
Maggie
