Kate~ Your energy amazes me

Mikkia~Nausea still staying abay?

Anne~ How you feeling?

Trish~ EIGHT miles? How, that's awesome. How do you find time?

Candra~ Another hot day today? Pedicure scheduled for this week? ;)

Steph~ I thought you were being treated to spa? You should still consider getting it done, if possible. You deserve it!

Susan~ How's the healing doing?

Jen/Maggie~ I have no idea what that educational ACRONYM is that Maggie had to whip up, but it sounds intensive....I admire Maggie even MORE for getting it done!

Lisa~ I"m glad you're enduring company. We've never really had any, so I have no idea how exhausting it may be!

Hi Morris/Kristan---you'll have to start a Mommy's Check-in for all of us to follow! Now, let's see.... who's next...Maggie? for some reason you're not on my list, but' aren't you Sept?

I didn't wake up this AM to w/o b/c I was so tired yesterday & I just want to be able to endure the work week. I hope it was a wise decision, although I laid in bed and thought I should be working out for an hour before I got out of bed,....is that still resting?

Super constipated too. I stopped my Niferex (slow released iron, highly absorbable---I tell my patients it causes minimum constipation). Then I began getting super dooper tired again, so I started Niferex again + docusate (stool softener safe in pg). Hopefully my cocktail will work.

I'm going to get labs drawn tomorrow. I work in town, and the owner pharmacist is super relaxed and even takes an hour lunch out of the pharmacy himself! I feel way too awful doing that---there's so much to do when I leave/come back from going to bathroom, let alone an hour! Labs shouldn't take long though...

Best get going!

Melanie, There'll be time for working out later. Get yourself thru a long week. The 1st tri. is HARD. (((hugs))) Sorry about the constipation - hope you get some relief! Good luck with your labs tomorrow.

--------------
I think we'll be at home most of the morning but in the late afternoon I have paychecks to cut so we'll go to the main office for that. Bible study tonight. Hoping to fit in some cardio while the girls are playing.

Have a great day!

Morning girls!
Doing well here. I think the nausea thing is done. I have had 3 full days of pure no nausea bliss and no naps(though would have if at all possible!). 11 weeks today and I think I may actually survive. The terrible constipation thing let up over the weekend. I almost feel human! It has rained the last 2 days and kids are stir crazy. I have to work today, but tomorrow we are going to the San Antonio zoo.
Melanie-sorry about the constipation thing, it was terrible for me this time too. I tried the stool softner too.
Jen-I was laughing about your ds. We can't go to Walmart without stopping in the bathroom and he has been potty trained for a while! Good luck with your grad class this week. It will be over soon.
Candra-How are you today? The every 2 week pedicure thing would be lovely. I try and go as often as I can. The last time we went in June I took my 6 y/o. I told her that she could buy a toy after her dentist appt. because she was so good. then she says "I want my toes done like you". I did not hesitate, we went right away and it was so fun!
Lisa-Lots of house guests can be stressful, but sometimes good if they like to babysit!
Trish-How are you doing with all of your packing? I hope you are getting lots of help!
Stephanie-you are having so much trouble. I hope the vet doesn't break the bank. Our last dog cost us so much money at the vet. I think that is why dh doesn't want another one. Sorry you have to miss your spa day.
Kate-we have to go back to the dentist on Thurs. One of the molars ds was going to get a sealant on looks like it may have a cavity, so he will have to drill alittle so we had to come back. I hate going to the dentist. I hope you had better luck.
I did bootcamp yesterday, I did ultimate taebo the day before, I think maybe back to cardio with weights for today. This is the most I have worked out in 7 weeks. Have a great day!

Trish-congrats on Landon's potty training!
Maggie-I read yesterdays post again, and the 2 year old break down over the lights is priceless. They are so funny yet irrtaional! tonight the Baby Borrowers are on NBC. I don't know if anyone has seen this program, but tonight they are giving all these smug teenagers 2 year olds to deal with for 3 days. That should go well}( .

Hi girls!

Melanie--I'm sorry about your constipation. I always have problems during pregnancy. My OB said it's safe to take Milk of Magnesia, which I have from time to time, but it doesn't seem to help much either. As for the spa day, I am being treated, but I was going to only let them treat me to a mani and I would pay for the pedi.

Trish--Congrats on your little one's potty training!! I know it feels like a HUGE burden has been lifted off of you!!

Kate--Hope you have a good day today. We'll be staying home most of the day too!

Mikkia--Congrats on such a great week of workouts!! Way to go!

Hi to Candra, Maggie, Jen, Susan, Lisa and everyone else I missed (bad pregnancy brain this morning)

---

Maggie dog is doing much better this morning. She's responding well to her meds, thank goodness. I gave her a bath last night, and that made her feel better too. I'm about to take Oliver to art day-camp and come home and do more laundry. I've also go to work on a press release for a church event. Have no idea what workout I'll do today. Maybe Jari Love. I sure hope I get to it!!

Hope you guys have a great day!!

Hi everyone!

I'm happy to report that there is no woodmax today. Ds 13 finished the job yesterday evening without being asked and even scooped up all the leftover bits and barky stuff. He is getting paid for this and that really motivates him. I'm so glad that it's done!

I must order heating oil today. I'm dreading it. I budgeted a certain amount based on what we paid last year and that is not going to fill the tank this year, hence all the wood. As long as we can keep the kitchen/dining room/living room area warm, I don't care about the rest of the house.

Melanie--I'm due in mid August. I've been taking iron with stool softener too. My iron came back fine earlier in pregnancy, but I'm sure it's low now because I do feel better when I take it. IEP stands for Individualized Education Plan.

Kate--it sounds like you are still pretty involved with the family business--meeting with lawyers, cutting checks, etc. Are you still feeling out of the loop? I'm sure it's nice to just know what's going on.

Mikkia--I'm so glad you are feeling better. It does feel like bliss just to be normal again. I haven't seen the Baby Borrowers, because we have no tv, but it sounds funny.

Stephanie--your poor dog and poor you with all those vet bills. I'm sure the dog doesn't have MRSA, but like you, I would be totally worrying about the most unlikely possibilities. Dh is always asking me, "How many things that you've worried about have actually come true?" He's not a worrier.

Jen--What a tough sounding week--2 days down, 3 to go! Home school law varies from state to state and I'm not sure about the law in PA, but here in Oregon, if one has a special needs child that cannot pass the standardized tests at the required percentile, one has the option of getting the school district to write up an IEP or to do as I am doing, which to write up my own (officially it's called a Privately Developed Plan) and finding someone to sign off on it. the law is vague as to who is to sign off on it. I have 3 public school teachers in our bible study who are willing. If the ESD asks to see the plan, I'll have to show it to them. The reason I prefer not to work with the school district is that my district does not work well with home schoolers. Some districts are excellent in this capacity, but ours is not. So I feel like I'm flying solo in some ways, but I simply set yearly goals for him in areas like expressive and receptive communication, cognitive ability, fine and gross motor skills, etc...and then write up a monthly schedule and weekly schedule to help us reach the goals. I actually do this with all my kids although it is not required, because it helps me get done all that needs to get done. Sorry about this being so long.

Lisa--I'm sure you'll need a rest after everyone leaves! I can't believe you are so far along--almost 3rd trimester.

Trish--insomnia and me go hand in hand, particularly whilst pregnant.
8 miles in one day? You are super woman indeed, especially with taking care of a house and a move and 3 little ones on your own all while pregnant. (((hugs))) I'm glad your parents are coming to give you some relief.

Candra--how is your son's ear? I hope you get some sort of relief from the heat.

Hi Anne, Hi Susan, Hi JenM, Hi Morris, Hi Kristan. I hope I didn't miss anyone!

Off to do Spanish before the barbarian hoards wake up}( .

Maggie:)
34 weeks, 2 days

Maggie's next then, right?!?!?

Trish, our last move with 3 kids was really really really really tough! Wow, I couldn't believe it. We lived in the house for 15 years, so we had lots of stuff. We had no family to help, but I did hire a babysitter to watch the kids 2 or 3 times so I could pack. I did relief work the last month, so I could pick my own hours---still worked 40 hrs though. TOUGH, I do not plan on moving ever again! Anyway, utilize as much help as you can...I cannot imagine doing it w/o DH & while pregnant too! You are so strong!!!!

Just ate omelete, hashbrowns, toast, biscuit & gravy. I'm full!!!!!

Hey Preggos!
So exciting to hear of the new arrivals this week!
Recovery has really slowed down for me. With my first sugery I was in virtually no pain...this time is tough. From shoulder to shoulder burns and aches and I have a tough time sleeping. Last night I finally turned the tv off close to 4..tossed and turned till dd got up at 7. I called dr today and nurse told me this is very normal and some pt's even have pain when they come for the 3 week check-up. Anyway, Im trying to be optomistic!!! DD is such a big help. I can't lift anything over 5lbs so Im asking for her help all the time..not one whine!!! I know she has got to be bored too. I can't get in the pool, cant drive etc. DH wears her out in the pool when he gets home so that helps. When I was in the hospital DH and DG taught her to play poker..so thats our newest game at night!
Ok, this too shall pass...no more complaining.
Oh, I am O'ing...lots of cm and I even with the pain I want sex..tmi, sorry. Using protection this month though...rats!!

I had major contipation when preg. I ususaly go 2 times a day..so I felt like a bloated pig most of the time.

Ok I have grossed you guys out enough with my bodily functions so I will leave for now.

Hi to everyone..Have a great day!!!

Morning everyone!

Melanie, yes it will be a very hot day today! On the pedicures I should clarify every 2 weeks is the plan not always the reality:) I do really need one right now though.

Mikkia. glad you are feeling normal again.

Stephanie, if it makes you feel better last year I had a $3,000 vet bill and both my dogs died:-( I hope your dog recovers quickly.

Kate, We don't have much going today either. I think I am going to take the boys to the library though.

Trish, I couldn't sleep last night either. It's our bodies getting us ready for crying newborns at 2am;) When my brother left for Iraq my sil had to pack up their house and move with 2 kids from NC to Ca. I remember her being miserable. Did you find out where you are moving yet?

Jen, your class does not sound fun at all. Good thing it is only 1 week.

Maggie, I am a worrier too. My husband looks at me like I am crazy with the things I come up with to worry about.

I think I am going to attempt gs legs today, lunges are really uncomfortable so I think I will do those with no weight.

Candra

Susan, you have every right to whine. We're here to listen. :) I'm always much more "horny" when CM is prime/ovulating. Since I've been pg I have ZERO interest though, which is unlike me. ;)

Susan, Oh my goodness! You look like you were stabbed! Ouch! It's very thin though, will heal up nicely. Did they get to your vertebra through the front of your neck? Wow. I would have liked to have seen it. ;) You & your family are beautiful!!!! You're daughter looks like such a sweetheart. :)

Melanie, I wasnt interested in sex while preg either. My dh is dying. He's got a major sex drive and dd has been staying up late, and I have been hurting.
Can tylenol make you itch if you take it alot? I love advil, but I can't take it for 6 weeks..something to do with the bone fusing. I have percocet, but don't like to that that during the day. I go as long as i can without taking anything.

Percocet can make you itch, I haven't heard of Tylenol causing an itch though...

Melanie, Thanks!! DD is a doll!
They did go in anteriorly..and made the incision right where my previous scar was. If it heals like last time you won't be able to see it at all.

Susan--wow, they went in through the front--go figure. When my son had a stent put in his aorta, they went up through a vein in his groin and I wasn't expecting that either. I'm sorry to hear that you are in pain. I hope you are able to get some sleep. You and your daughter are just beautiful. (and I don't think there's TMI on the pregnancy/ttc check in--we're pretty open.)

Maggie:)

Oh my goodness, how am I going to catch up!?
Ended up being a really crazy day with office stuff then I had to take my mom to the hospital. She has MS and got really ill tonight. So no workout but I ate great today. Wed. is a scheduled rest day anyway - I was just hoping to fit one in anyway.

------------
Mikkia, Glad things are turning around for you. Great WOs!

Stephanie, Glad Maggie is doing better! Did you WO today?!

Maggie, Good for you for being so disciplined with the heating budget. I knwo we're gonna get slammed this year. We have 2 large propane water heaters. I'm semi-in the loop with the business. I guess I know enough. LOL about barbarian hoards!

Melanie, No fair talking about food! I'm starving!

Susan, I'm sorry for all you're going thru - whine away, baby! Maybe you can get your cardio in during SexMax!! Hugs to DD for being a big helper! Wow to the neck pic! Yikes!

Candra, Anything good at the library? I'm not super fond of leg work rightnow either. Too much pelvic floor pressure.

Better head to bed.... but maybe not to sleep! all this talk about sex.....}(
