Happy Holiday Ladies!!!

DH is taking today off so yay to that! I need the extra pair of hands - my nerves are growing thin!

No plans really for the weekend for us. We'll go to SIL's tonight to eat dinner (Booooooooooo!!!) - other than that it's home for us!

Have a great day!

Lots to do today, the kids are in the kiddie parade & I haven't started decorating their bikes yet. Then the parade & another fair. Lots and lots of garage sales today. Fireworks tonight, of course.

My legs and feet are sore from work. :( I'm tired too, but not as bad as I have been. I"m getting stronger. The kids are sleeping so I"m trying to get as much done as possible before they wake up.

I put my maternity clothes out in spare room closet (the ones my friend is lending me). It filled up the entire closet! OVER 40 shirts--not even including the meek few I have left over from my pregnancies. One more month, then I'll be supporting those clothes around town! August 4th will be my goal date for now. Hoping to get u/s in prior to that so I know what to tell people!

Have a great 4th, comrades!!!

Melanie, Sounds like a nice day. I'm sure the kids will have a blast today! Too cool on all the maternity clothes! I'm about to make another splurge online. shhhhhh!!!

Good Morning!

Happy 4th! We are just going to swim today and do fireworks tonight. I let the boys do sparklers last night and my little one grabbed the match intsead of his sparkler and burned his hand:( He just has a small blister but he was jumping all over the place and we were yelling at him to put his hand in the pool.

Melanie, the parade sounds like fun! I can't wait for your ultra-sound.

Kate, I can't stop buying maternity clothes. Where are you making your splurge at? I just got some shorts from Gap and a really comfortable dress from Old Navy. I love how you can shop at both places now and only pay one shipping fee.

Check back later. I am going to do PUL.

Candra

Candra, Sounds like a nice day! We did sparklers last night too, but thankfully it was uneventful. I'll be shopping at ON & Gap too. I get free shipping (coupon code SILVER) because I have a Gap Silver card - maybe DH souldn't know about that though!;-) Have a good WO!

I've been organizing closets and cupboards all morning. Feels so good to get that stuff done. DH and DDs have been outside doing projects - yesssssssssss!!!! Almost as good as being home alone! Time to go make lunch for everybody now.

The ligaments in front of my pubic bone are ACHING! It is a constant pain that is actually worse when I sit to pee! Needless to say I am waiting until I'm about to wet my pants before I go to the bathroom! On the bright side - At least the RL pain is not so present today!

I think it's going to be quiet here this weekend!

Just wanted to check in and let you know the IUI went well. DH's count doubled!!! :) There was 62% motility (they want to see at least 50%) and his count post wash was 9.1 million (his last counts were 3 and 5 million), so he doubled his count. The surgery for him was a great success. So, she used a catheter to insert all 9 million into my cervix and I'm hoping one of them will find that follicle!

Yesterday was fantastic! DH and I got on the water at 3 in the afternoon and tooodalooed around the lake and did some fishing. We didn't get off the water until 10pm. It was so peaceful. Just what we needed.

Happy anniversary Kate!

Melanie - that's cool that the kids are in the parade! Have fun decorating those bikes!

Hi Candra, Lisa and everyone!

Hope everyone is having a nice Holiday weekend! We're off to the 'good guys' car show today...

Anne

Happy Independance Day, everyone!

Dh is taking me out to lunch today--a lebonese restaurant near his current job site with an all you can eat (watch out!) lunch buffet. I'm going to make him stop and get me baklava on the way home, since the restaurant does not serve it. I'm a little nervous about buffets when I'm pregnant...but my lets not worry about anything total opposite dh is not, so that's that. He is very excited about sharing this with me, so I'll comply.

Anne--That is such good news about the sperm count and motility! Praying that a good healthy one finds your egg!

Kristan--today is your due day, right? I can't believe you are able to jump with a stability ball between your legs! That's amazing! I usually quit working out at 38-39 weeks because it just gets too uncomfortable on my back and pelvic floor.

Jen--you sound really busy. I would need a lot of down time after a busy time like that--but it sounds like fun too. Yes, the bathroom remodel is something of a running joke around here. At least the toilet is working and the next thing dh will do is hook up the sink. I figure if I plan on it taking 5 years, I won't be disappointed:p.

Melanie--you sound busy too--try and get some rest this weekend--you work so hard. Hurray on the shirts. 40 should get you through.

Candra--sorry about your little one. I'm afraid that with sparklers someone would put an eye out around here. I think we'll wait until the little ones are a bit older. I may be overruled by dh--he doesn't worry so much.

Kate--this may be TMI, but I have a lot of pelvic/pelvic floor discomfort when I pee during the 3rd trimester especially. I've found that straddling the toilet standing up makes the process much easier. Anyway--have fun shopping!

Take care, all!

Maggie:)
33 weeks, 4 days

Kate~ happy anniversary!! DH and I had our 9th in March. Seems like it's went so fast.

Melaine~wow a 13 hour day.. ugh Glad you'll have 3 days off to rest! The kiddie parade is so fun! WE didn't do it this year becaues it was just me and I didn't have a way to get their bikes to the parade w/out messing up the decorations. DH usually loads them in his truck.

Mikkia~have fun in houston!

Maggie~I agree w/ your about the driving.. if it were on a family farm or your property that is one thing, but public protperty could get him a ticket. Enjoy your lunch date!

Stephanie~ lol at stress being an extra workout.. I wish it were because I just might be very thin.. hehe

Kristan~oh maybe a 4th of July baby is in store for you!!

Anne~wow that sounds like a major improvement! I pray this is the cycle that works!!

We are heading over to my DHs aunts later for a cookout and the fireworks Then we are going to stay the night at my MILs (it's 45 mins away) then come back in the morning, but then we have a parade and fireworks tomorrow night w/ my FIL so it's a busy weekend. I got my 5 miles in this morning and a shower. I am acutally fixing my hair and make up and dressing up a bit (jeans and a tank top as opposed to my workout stuff.. lol) I hope I can have a relaxing few days.

Hey girls,
Long story short...had neck surgery yesterday..disc 6/7 ruputured. My arm/fingers are numb so I can't type that well. Numbers were down, and thats a great thing since I was on Morphine for 2 days9last week 90,yesterday .08. I am home resting now...and Af came today. When it rains it pours!
Anne, I am sooo praying for you!!!!

I only have just a minute...

YAY ANNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep us posted!

Maggie, My family is Lebanese - you'll have to try kibee some time - yum!! Thanks for the toilet tip!

Trish, Have fun tonight!

Susan, OH MY WORD!!! Huge hug comin' at ya! Keep us poted when you can!

Susan! When it rains, it pours,...you said it! Wow, how long are you going to be out?

Kate~ how's your lazy day going?

Maggie~ saw your coaching post, it's disappointing

Trish~ Yeah to fun night!

City wide garage sales start tomorrow, so that freed up some time for me to nap! I slept from 3-6!!! Fireworks start at 1030, we didn't go to carnaval---we'll go tomorrow afternoon I think. The parade was a lot of fun, though exhausting (what isn't exhausting right now?)

No w/o again today, tomorrow I hope to do another cardio coach. My legs have felt like lead for a week. I remember feeling that way with other pregnancies too.

Melanie, No lazy day here - I got a ton of organizing done! Felt so good! Nice nap for you! That's a late start for fireworks! Ours start at 9PM.

I just finished a Leslie Sansone 4-miler. Decent enough, tho her voice drives me thru the roof! Still, it will be good for the rest of the pg and for pp too.
