TTC Nov 4th-Where is everyone???

good morning. i wish i would just throw up and get it over with:( i am okay not having twins - it was definately intriguing, but, so many less variables to work out with just one.

anne, i hope things work this cycle! i never took clomid, but my doc offered it - she said one major side effect for people was headaches. you never know, though. everyone reacts differently.

hi autumn - your daughter sounds so grounded! good question about dvd's. i have quite the stack going, and i cannot bear to part with any of them. in fact, it is all i can do to not order amy's slo-mo. i started to preview asc2 - it looks fantastic, but will take me a good week to learn (very very fast paced complex choreo). plus, i hate using my regular workout time to learn as i never get a great workout when i am on that learning curve.

hi melanie - so are you okay you guys didn't try this month? also, what do you recommend for double joggers??

hi kristan, hi jen.

i have a long day today, and i am not sure how it will go. i am in surgery all morning, and i feel so yucky. hopefully i will be able to pull it together. i think lisa comes back next week. hope fully she is missing all of us too;-)

I put in a good effort with DH, he wasn't in the mood!! Can you believe it? Anyone else have a greater libido than your husbands?!?!?

I have a Baby Jogger double stroller. Love it. I had a Baby Jogger single and loved it, so insisted on getting same brand. I"m sure there are other good brands, but living in a rural area I wasn't able to check them out prior to purchase so had to go with experience and reviews.

I found a fabulous route to work. I drive along the Canada/US border (on Canadian side). The road is very smooth and straight. It's not along the river (but I feel safer). The drive itself is about 20 miles shorter (but having to go thru customs twice, it takes about the same time).

DS has been hiding his report card. :( It was NOT good at all. He is an honor roll student, so I'm pretty stressed trying to figure out what has happened. He seems to be adjusting well, but there will need to be some changes.

Better get to work!

<<Anyone else have a greater libido than your husbands?!?!?>>
Sorta yes, I have a higher libido than DH when I am fertile. Insatiable I tell ya. }( It amazes me how I change.

Melanie, I emailed you so let me know if you didn't get it. Sorry to hear about DS report card. I wish I had some words of wisdom. I suspect you'll get to the bottom if what is going on though.

Morris, How did you a.m. in surgery go? I hope the nausea passes quickly. I tend to hang on to workouts too because my preferences do change. I am going to part with the ones that I just don't enjoy and cause my knees to scream. That is my purge criteria. If only one of those apply, I will keep the workout for now... I think... I could change my mind though. :)

Gotta go ladies! TTFN!

Well,...
I asked DH WHICH classes DS got "Fs" in,...to find out it was just a progress report and those were assignments,...not a final grade. He actually got a B+ in that class. Here I am ready to take his cell phone away, sports, tv,... :D :D Isn't life so funny?

well, i woke up today and almost immediately started bleeding. not a lot, but more than spotting. i went back to bed (it was 4:30am, my run time), and things have stopped since. i am cramping a lot though and waiting to call the dr.

melanie, i am glad things are better than you thought. is this your 13 year old i assume?

hope everyone is well. any news? jen?

Oh Morris!!!! {hugs} {hugs} and lots and lots of prayers. I did bleed with 2 of my 3 pgs and had some pinching like cramps here and there. When can you call your dr? Keep us posted...

Morris-I am praying for you. It's probably nothing. My sis-in-law filled pads with blood numerous times during her pregnancy, and her baby was fine! She always went and got checked when it happened, but everything worked out. Hang in there.

I am on Day 29 of my cycle. Temps are still above the coverline, and they have been for 9 days now. My cycles have been 32 days, so we'll see. I will NOT take a preg. test for a while. I am getting a nasty headache, some mild cramping and I am in such a rotten mood, so I am pretty sure I know what will happen soonx( .

I just got home from work, so I am going to go. I will catch up more this weekend!

Well, I am definitely NOT pregnant. I got AFx( . I am going to call the dr. on Monday to set up an appointment so we can figure out what is going wrong. I am in a really bad mood about this-I feel so discouraged. I want to take time off from TTC, but that probably won't do any good. I am just tired of getting my hopes up, and then nothing! O.K., enough complaining. I will return when I am in a better mood.

hi everyone - well, baby is okay. i had a spot of bleeding in my uterus. they are not sure what it is from. no further bleeding, though. i am just saying prayers things work as they are supposed to.

jen, i am so sorry af came, so sorry for your frustration. i think talking to your doc is a good idea. sometimes a break is good too. you are in my thoughts.

melanie, hope you had a good week. thank you for the good wishes. when did you bleed while pregnant? how long did it last?

i took yesterday completely off - did not even work. today i felt up to running. also, i got my new amy step dvd. i will try to learn it today so i can do it next week - dh will be gone all week.

morris- I had bleeding with my 3 kids- in fact, the last one was a pretty heavy bright red bleeding that started around week 7 and lasted until week 11. The doctors called it a subchorionic hematoma- some type of blood pocket around the placenta area. Everything was fine; I'm sure you'll be fine too.

Jen, I am also sorry you are frustrated and things aren't working.

I also got my Amy ASC2 DVD. Hoping to try it today.

Yeah Morris!!! I am sooooooooo happy! I was really worried about you, and kept checking the forums for you to post. This really makes my day!

Jen, it's so hard to stay positive. We feel your pain. Feel free to vent to us, this is the perfect place!

I also have Amy's new step 2 workout!!!! I'm planning on doing it today. I did her kicbox one yesterday, and liked it a lot. I'll be thinking of you gals when I do it. I just LOVE cardio the more sweaty and slippery I can get, the better!!!

melanie, my doc suggested vit b6 and unisom for nausea. do you know why the unisom? it seems weird to me to take that, and so i haven't - just the b6.

anyone have amy's hi/lo? i was thinking of oredering it - i think i have a problem:) mel, did you do kbx? i love that workout.

Morris, unisom & vit b6 is safe,...just make sure you doxylamine which is active ingredient in Unisom tablets. There is no generic, but I'm thinking the Unisom gel cabs have diphenhydramine in them,...just check active ingredients. Dilectin is the Canadian version of the two ingredients (used for a long time, Rx only). Bendectin used to be available in USA, it had doxylamine, B6, and a third ingredient. I don't know if the 3rd ingredient was a problem,...but it's no longer available in USA.

I did Amy Bento's Advanced Step Challenge. It is going to take me a long time to get her choreography...but when I do it's going to be a blast!!! I have to remind myself of how sweaty I can get LEARNING a video. So often I think to myself, "I don't want to learn something new and not get a good workout",...and then never take the time to learn complex choreography. I did sections 1 and 2 about three times. By the third time, I almost had it. There's 5 sections, so what an accomplishement it'll be when I finally do it! Anyone else try it today?

I did Amy's kbx workout yesterday. I liked it a lot. ;)

Happy Saturday ladies!!!

Melanie- today I previewed ASC2 and I used the top part of the board only and tried to figure out sections 1 and 2- had to do it about 7 times to get just those sections. I did the same with 3. I am going to try 4 tomorrow and 5 on Monday with the hope I can actually do the workout on Wednesday. It looks like fun though (and the parts I did were fun)!

Kristan, did you preview the moves on her special "review" section?

Yes- and I still had a "delayed reaction" on most of those moves. I am getting it though and I am really glad I bought it.

I also got her Cardio Pump Hi/lo (which I had done before with Netflix) and LOVE it even though I am hi/lo phobic.

FInally, yesterday my actual work out was All Body Attack with Sharon Money Twombley which I absolutely loved and it was HARD cardio, but interesting. I really liked S. Twombley as an instructor. It's a lot of workout for just $20.00.

i LOVE asc2!! i spent 1 hr yesterday learning it and felt pretty good by the end. i did not try the power up section yet. i did the voice only audio option, and it helped a lot as amy cues really well. i may have to get her hi low workout too. anyone have that?
