TTC/ Moms to be Check in Jan 20th

Morris, you should be in your meeting right now, we're with you,...girlfriend!

Autumn, thanks for stopping by. I'm praying that you have endurance for this week and next.

Lisa, weddings can be so stressful (and expensive). Are you still feeling PMSy? My workouts are literally my anti-depressants. If I don't do them, I feel awful. This has been such a tough year as far as my mood goes. My mom says it's because I've been through so much, I bit the bullet and started an antidepressant about 10 days ago, I want to be a great wife & mom,...I just can't do it if I"m depressed! I'll discontinue if I b/c pg.

I havne't tempted, but I do have slippery wet clear springy mucous today. We'll see. ;) Initially I wanted a Nov,Dec,Jan baby. Now that I realize that I have no control (and I can't just become pg when I want to) I"ll take any month. :D :D

Morris - Hope your meeting went well. Thinking of you.

Melanie - Attack DH tonight! Did you see a psychologist regarding the depression?

Hi Autumn!!!!

At work and taking a quick break. I need to workout tonight. Yesterday was one long day.

Lisa

Morris, how did your meeting go?

Lisa, no I didn't see a psychologist. Just a tough spot right now, I"m sure I won't be on it lifelong. ;) Maybe b/c I"m a pharmacist I see how common antidepresant use is? I really struggled with starting one b/c I"m such a "happy go lucky" person. It may be more of a seasonal thing, as the sun doesn't shine much up here. It's beautiful, and I like it here, but even in the summer it's not very sunny. I've noticed throughout my life that I've gotten grumpy if it's cloudy/rainy for a long stretch.

Hope everyone's having a good week. Much quieter this week.

Hi everyone--quick post I've been busy.

I do feel a bit better this week.

Morris--I'm sorry to hear of your situation at work. Being blind-sided is the worst. I hope all goes well for you. Keep us posted (((hugs))).

Melanie--I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with depression. I find the Psalms to be comforting during my bouts with depression. I haven't taken anti-depressents since I was a teen. (((hugs))) to you too.

Hi everyone else!

Maggie :)

hi everyone - happy friday!

things went surprisingly well at work yesterday, and i am hopeful we have resolved all the issues. i am feeling quite cautious but relieved.

mel, i am sorry about the depression. this time of year is so hard, plus, you have had so many changes in the last year. taking something to help may be all you need. i am sending prayers your way. also, hope you and dh have some quality time.

lisa, hoping af stays away!!

hi maggie, how are you feeling?
i had a fun fun workout this am of amy's kbx and her hi lox blast only challenge - i really enjoy hi lo. dh and i have a work function of his tonight, so not quite a date. hoping i do not fall asleep during the dinner.

i will bbl

good morning everyone! i feel like such a slug. i went to bed too late for me (10:30pm) to get up at 5 and work out. i will have to workout during ds's nap later. i am hoping to do amy's asc2, some abs, maybe a few weights - not sure. i also have to start packing and getting the house ready to leave for a week on monday.

how is everyone? mel, did you ovulate? lisa, is af still staying away? hope to chat with everyone today. i will bbl

Lisa, are we still in the clear?

Morris, I'm so glad your meeting went well

My temp didn't spike this AM like I suspected it would. Lucky me, another fertile day. ;)

Morris - Yay for a great meeting!!

Melanie - Make sure you get one more last bit of deposit from DH!! I know a psychologist I used to see said lack of sunlight is linked directly to depression. Hope it gets better for you! You are such a positive force!

Hi Maggie!

Okay, short post since I have my sister's wedding today, but just wanted to let you guys know that I took a test yesterday and it was a BFN (big, fat negative) and was really bummed because my chart has never looked so good. So I knew that if my temp dropped this a.m., I was out, but my temp went up!!!! It has never stayed up past 12dpo and today makes 13dpo so I'm hoping I just tested too early. Please say a prayer for me and keep your fingers crossed! I probably won't test until tomorrow or Monday depending what my temp does. I'll be MIA for the rest of the day because of the wedding. I'm going to try and workout now before the crazy day starts!!

Lisa

Lisa, I want to see a picture of you in your dress!! "m sorry about BFN, however it's too early to know for sure. I think I read that 18 days of high temp was indicative of pg? I will do my best to seduce DH.

lisa, my fingers are crossed for you - my lttle sis tested 2 days early and was negative, but she was pregnant. awsome news about the chart. hope the wedding goes well and we get more good news soon.

mel, enjoy your fertility.

i am sooo hormonal today. i am crying constantly and feel like a bad mommy - not sure why. ds is going for a nap, and i aim to do some serious sweating. i will check in later

Morris--I'm glad things seem to be resolved at work. And I think I get the bad mommy award, not you. I've had such a short fuse since I got pregnant. It must be hormones, but the poor kids--I'm soooo grumpy.

Lisa--weddings can be stressful. My husband and I were married by a judge on a Monday morning (looong story). Sometimes I regret that I didn't have a big white wedding where we were the center of attention, but then I think of all the money and sanity saved and I feel better. Someday we plan to have a big anniversery party, when all the kids are bigger. And maybe you took that test too early. I've known several women who tested negative at first, but were actually pregnant.

Anne--keep us posted on your husband's surgery.

Hi Kristan! Hi Autumn! Hi Melanie!

I'm feeling a bit better, but the good days come and go. I suppose I eventually need to go see the doctor, but I'm putting it off as long as possible--too much to do.

take care all--

Maggie:)
10 weeks 4 days

well, i got in a great workoutand i feel so much better. i did asc2 and a few miles on the treadmill. i also did abs today - both core sections from the 4ds. it is definately getting harder to do them!

maggie, i know what you mean about a short fuse - dh usually gets the worst of it! glad you are having some good days. i felt noticably better by 11 weeks, and really good by 15.

hope everyone is well. lisa, i am still crossing my fingers!

I'm starting to feel better. When I was at church last week a lady asked if I had cardio & weights (I had told her I had cathe's entire library). Of course, she wants to borrow it. Being a nice person I said, "Of course" and smiled largely. It's been a favorite of mine and I forgot imax2 was on it. Soooooooooooo I did BOTH today. :D :D Talk about an attitude adjustment!!!!!!!!!

YOU DID BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????? You rock!!!!! C&W is one of my favs too!!!!!!

Maggie, did you receive my email? My email is possessed so I'm just checkin'. Your book is shipped. Let me know when you get it.

Talk to you ladies later!

Thanks for the compliment, I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow,...I might as well take my 800mg ibuprofen with breakfast!!!!! That shirt is awesome, the price is not!

Morris--my dear husband takes a certain amount also, but he is extremely patient by nature--so why did he marry me, I wonder at times:p

Melanie--I wish my body could handle that kind of a workout--I'm falling apart literally as I age:-( .

Autumn--I just checked my e mail and replied. Thanks--I'm really looking forward to it. And the t shirt is hilarious. I've nursed each child for an average of 18 months (with the exception of Malcolm, the down syndrome one, because he couldn't latch on--he got pumped milk for 9 months.)So that makes a total of 99 months or 8 years and 3 months out of the last 14 years producing milk.

take care all
Maggie:)

maggie, that is impressive!!

melanie, awsome workout - great to have all those endorphins going, for sure. i have not done c and w in ages - i should dust it off.

autumn, that shirt sounds just about right.

poor ds vomited twice last night and has a bad cough. just in time for our trip tomorrow evening..... hope it is a quick bug. i slept great and had a loonnggg run this am. am hoping to do some weights during nap time but i have so much else to do to get ready to leave. thankfulyl dh will be home around 5, so i can catch up then too. i'll bbl

Morris- you're killing me. I ran on friday (4 miles) and wanted to stop at mile 1.5. And Melanie, IMAX2 and C+W together sounds like quite a time! I really like both of those dvd's.

I am in full party frenzy preparing for our mardi gras party this friday. Lots of shopping and house preparation. Today is supposed to be 65 degrees and our neighborhood has a giant Mardi Gras dog parade. Hoping my husband will take the kids while I go to our school and volunteer at open house.

Lisa, I always get a BFn and then test positive a few days later. I must be hcg impaired or something.

I am hoping to get in the leg stuff from 4DS today but that may not happen. I know I'll be on my feet most of the day and may be too tired. My goal is to do something for 1/2 hour even if it's wimpy.

My week was:
Mon- IMAx3
tues- gym, plus core
weds- gym, plus my own "mix" of upper body from 4DS
thurs- rest
fri- 4 miles plus leg machines at gym
sat- rest
sun- hopeful for something.

take care. Kristan, 17+ weeks.
