TTC /Mommies to be check-in Jan 27th

Morris - It's 65 here also and I'm FREEZING!!! Glad things are going well on your vacation.

Melanie - Totally understandable. It can be a really emotional rollercoaster. Sometimes I feel the same, but I'm still determined to try. We'll see in a couple mos how I feel if I'm still not pg.

I ate so great yesterday and I'm having a harder time today. I don't know what my problem is. I'm going to workout later tonight. It will be my 4th workout for the week. Maybe some IMAX2 tonight.

hey everyone

mel, hope your break is just what you need. will you still check in????

lisa, my eating was awful on friday - weds and thurs were so good, i think i just let stress and fatigue get to me. unfortunately i slept terribly last night but got in a 7 mil run this am. todays eating will be better, i hope;) enjoy imax2 - i have not done that since postpartum. i did it 1-2x a week thru my last pregnancy and got burnt out on it. i should pull it out again.

we head home tomorrow morning. boy will i miss this weather - we all went swimming yesterday and it felt great. i am hoping to get home early enough to sneak in a workout - will bribe dh with promises of an uninterrupted superbowl:)

hope everyone is well. jen, are you still taking tests? how do you feel?

My pants are tight. My LOOSE pants are tight. It seemed to happen overnight. I weighed myself and I have gained some weight. I measured myself and I've gained inches as well. The last three days I have worked to clean up my eating & working out harder. I've lost 2 lbs this week. I've weaned myself to just one Mt Dew/day as well. I have discovered sugar free Hawaiian drink. It's those pouches you pour into water. Yummy. I bet Lisa drinks lots of Hawaiian punch. :D :D

Hi,
I didn't take any more tests since the first one, but I will at the end of next week. I am not getting super duper excited yet...Keep your fingers crossed. I had some very light brown spotting early last week (day 24-25), and that was odd since I never get AF early. I thought I was just getting AF early due to all the stress of last month. But, then nothing else happened. I remember the same thing happened when I was pregnant with my son. When AF never came when it was supposed to, I thought I'd better take a test, and it was +. I'll wait a few more weeks before calling the dr.

I have been around lurking, but not so much time to post. I have a few minutes now, so here I go:
Maggie-I had gained way more weight than you did, with my first pregnancy. At least STS will be available for you when you are trying to lose weight. Glad to hear all is well with you.

Lisa-Glad to hear that the wedding went well. They can be stressful.

Anne-I hope you are feeling better. It seems like this was the worse fall/winter for my family with being sick. My DS is not sick for the first time in a long time (knock on wood).

Melanie-I don't blame you for taking a break. Hey, that's what I did, and do you see what happened (I hope, anyway).

Kristan-Wow! Awesome workouts. Keep up the great work.

Morris-Congrats again on a boy. Did you pop out a lot sooner with this pregnancy?

I am off to enjoy the rest of the day!

Jen - Congrats on the BFP!!!

DH has finally scheduled his surgery for March 13th so we'll see where we're at 3 months from then. Had a fight about adoption again, and AF is on the way, so really depressed. Finally went to the Dr. to get antibiotics for the sinus infection. I'll be back soon, hope everyone is well.

anne, i am sending hugsd your way. i hope with getting dh's surgery scheduled you guys can look toward the possibilities. i hope things feel brighter soon.

mel, awsome job with the weight loss. my pantsa are getting really tight - lol!

jen, i am still hoping for you1!!! i have popped a bit sooner this time - i started wearing maternity clothes at 24 weeks (i just wore one size bigger prior) but now at 20 weeks it is more comfy. i feel so big though. my dad commented to me about how "round" i look. lovely complimentx( i am really not meaning to complain, i just find it hard to get used to the changes and limitations on my body. of course i love all the possibilities of growing a human being. sometimes i can just be pretty selfish.

we head home tomorrow and i am definately ready. i love family, but i am just more used to quiet and peace. too much time around people makes me tired. with that, i think i will go to bed. ope to check in tomorrow or monday.

Anne - Not to be nosey, but what was the argument regarding adoption? I hope you guys were able to work things out. The surgery sounds promising. I hope that's just what will help you guys get your baby asap!

Jen - Sending you lots of sticky vibes. I know how hard it is not to worry, but hope you get some peace of mind soon.

Melanie - Wow, way to go with the 2 lbs and the MDs! I'm on a eating plan also. I want to lose at least 5 lbs.

Morris - I know what you mean about being able to be home and have some relaxing time to yourself. Do you still do high impact workouts meaning do you still jump around or do you take everything low impact?

Autumn - Thank you once again for the email. My box arrived at work today so I'm kind of excited to use it. I do hope maybe I get pg this month though and maybe not have to use it, but we'll see.

Hi everyone else!!

I'm super tired. I did 5 workouts this week. I ate great today so I'm feeling pretty good right now. Better get to bed. Anyone watching the Superbowl?

Lisa

lisa, are you on your 2ww? great job with the workouts. what are you doing these days? i don't really modify my workouts on purpose. my tuck jumps have way less tuck now, and plie jacks are not so pretty, but i make a pretty good effort. today i got home from our trip and did imax 3 and then most of drill max. i worked out on vacation but did not the hardest, so i wanted to make up for it today. it all felt good.

mel, how is the mountain dew stuff going? do you eat or drink in the car? i used to drive for work and got into the terrible habit of needing to eat while on the road. i lost 8 lbs after i stopped that job.

jen, hope things are still going well.

i am super tired tonight but cannot wait to get into my own bed. i am really looking forward to getting back into a routine. the vacation ended up well but rushed, and was not as relaxing as if we had had a few quiet family days. all in all, though, i cannot complain. the weather was amazing, and i returned to freezing temps and grey skies. oh well....

I am doing great with MDs. Down to just one a day (AM dose). Thanks for asking. I don't eat/drink too often in the car, I chew alot of gum. Too funny about you losing 8lbs after last job.

I have definitely decided to take a break from TTC. Again, we won't really do anything to prevent,...but I need to do this until we sell our other house. There's just too much going on. ;) God is so in control & He knows what we can and can't handle. Looking over our finances I see that I'll need to work more hours in March (until our home sells). Looking at working 90hrs every 2 weeks (not including drive time). It'd be really tough (impossible) to do this pg. Anywho, I'll stop in to congrat all your pregos and to keep an eye on your progress. You gals mean the world to me!!!!

Hi,
Well, my day was something else! My DH, DS and I were visiting family (about an hour away). We decided to get on the road early to get everything done before the Super Bowl (my DH is a HUGE Giants fan). Well, as we were getting on the interstate (still an hour to go till we got home), I heard a THUD. We didn't think anything of it until a warning light came on to say we had a flat. We pulled in the nearest gas station. We have a newer car, and my DH obviously didn't become acquainted with the way the spare is under the car. Needless to say, I had to call AAA. It took 1 1/2 hours before they came!!!!!
Then, we got home, and found out my DH locked our screendoor in the back of our house due to recent burlaries in our neighborhood. We, of course, had tried the front screen door, but my stinker of a son had locked it from the inside before we had left on Friday!!!! So, we were locked out of our house. My DH managed to get the living room window open, and he crawled in that way (note to self, fix that window).
I am so damn tired right now I could cry. I am off to put DS to bed and finish my lesson plans for the week. So far, still pregnant. I am having trouble sleeping. It seems that I wake up at 4, and can't get back to sleep. That's not typical-I'm a good sleeper.

Well, gotta run, DS is getting into trouble.

Jen - Ouch! What a day you had! Sorry about the series of unfortunate events!

Melanie - Will you still be dropping in to say hello at least?

Morris - I'm still waiting to ovulate.

Working from home today. Just wanted to say hello!
