TTC check in Sept 16

Morris - Yay for AF and let's hope this is the start of your pg journey!

Melanie - Sorry about the BFN (big, fat negative). You have a great attitude!

Not much for me here. Ate decent today, but did have some dark chocolate. What is my problem?!!?? I know I'm stressed because my eye muscles are spasing. Melanie's detox sounds good. Although, fruits would be hard for me also. I love grapes and watermelon and any kind of melon.

I"m sorry Morris, I almost missed your period above! Yeah! How exciting...

Hey guys! Just finished working out. That's #4 for this week. Eating today was actually decent. How is everyone doing? I'm pooped. I'm going to relax and then go to bed.

boy am i glad the week is over!!! friday was crazy, then this am ds and i went for my first us and blood test. i start my hormone injections tonight. thankfully, ds was great during my appointment this am. then, we went on a short run.

lisa, sounds like you ended up with a good week - great job with the workouts and eating.

melanie, your attitude is so great - i need it to rub off on me today;)

hi jen, hi autumn, hi anne. where is everyone with their cycles?

after ds's nap, we are supposed to go apple picking. i have to hit the store too. also trying to do some abs and maybe light weights. we will see what gets done....

You're too sweet Morris! I don't consider myself as always being a positive person. Sometimes I feel like I have to "proclaim" the positvitiness, even if I don't FEEL it. I find that feelings will lie to you, if you actually listen to everyone of them. Do you know what I mean? Feelings can be bypassed with prayer, motivation, and re-focusing on the things that REALLY matter. Just a philosophy...

I think all you ladies are wonderful. One of the reasons why I can stay so "positive" is b/c I have you ladies to vent with and open up to! Thank you!!!!

Hi!
I have been keeping up with reading your posts, but I can't always reply right away. So, now that I have a few minutes, here I go...

Lisa-Great job with all of those workouts (you too, Autumn). I started P90X (yet again) last week, and I have done 4 workouts. I have had this lingering cold as well. It comese and goes, and now it's back again (darn kids at school with all their germsx( ).

Morris-I love fall too (apple picking, hayrides, pumpkins, Halloween). It's my favorite season. Right now, I have a cinnamon candle buring (my ds-2 years old-saw the candle and said, "Candle..birthday cake"). I had to explain that that candle is just a regular candle/not a birthday candle;-) . Good luck with your injections.

Hello, Anne. Are your still volunteering at the NH? How was your week?

Melanie, sorry to hear about your test. I actually almost threw up yesterday morning, but I am NOT pregnant. I was visiting with family, and they were all saying, "Oh, your pg." It was the vitamin I took without eating first that did it. I hope you feel better, Melanie.

I am on day 12 of my cycle. I am using the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM) starting this cycle. It is talked about in the book "Taking Charge of Your Fetility". It involves taking your basal temp each morning at the same time, looking at your cervical mucous (I know....gross) and know what position your cervix is in (I have yet to even know where my cervix is:) ). So, I am focusing on my temp and the CM for now. I'll keep you updated. At least I've stopped seeing so many pregnant ladies!

Take care and have a great week.
-Jen

Af came this morning. My cycles must be short. Last month about 25 day cycles! This is a good thing for conceiving!!! My periods have been brown lately too, instead of red. Weird. Any ideas?

Maybe I"ll get that book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I've heard about it for so long, and since I can't seem to find my DETOX book I just bought....maybe it's a sign!! Ha Ha

I had a designer come out yesterday to help give me ideas for my great room. We're really close to picking furniture. I was hoping to have furniture by Thanksgiving, now it looks like Christmas! It's so much fun designing. We're doing a loggie reds look. I'm really excited.

I"m thinking about throwing my elliptical into the furniture budget. It's been 5+ years that I've been dreaming about one... a used one, of course. I feel like I could squeeze one in now w/o feeling too guilty. When do Cathe's vids come out? Maybe that'll get me through the hump so I can wait another 6 mos or so (it'd be so nice to sell our other house first)!

Okay, enough blah blah blah! Happy Sunday!

ohhh an elliptical!! that has been tempting me too. what kind would you get? i was thinking about using my christmas bonus for that. dh is always after me to do something fun with it and i never do. of course, more exercise equipment is not what he'd have in mind;-) melanie, i know exactly what you mean about sometimes having to "proclain" how you feel. i do bvelieve if you say it often enough you can feel it. that is what keeps me going when dh is gone so much. i mean, i am always telling my little guy we are going to have a fun day, or we are happy to do this or that. if you say it often enough you do believe it!

jen, great to hear from you. you are close to ovulating. are you usually right at day 14?

hi everyone else - how is your weekend going?

Life Fitness elliptical, fell in love with them at the University during pharmacy school. :)
