Hi! Wow, I have 5 minutes to myself to type
. My husband and I take turns getting up with Andy (3-year-old) on the weekends. If I am already up, and he wants to get up and play with Andy, then I get to read in bed, use the computer, etc. Not like it's a chore to get up and play with Andy, but it's nice to have some "me" time for a little bit.
I am totally over bronchitis now. My voice is slowly coming back to normal-it's a little raspy yet. This week was crazy due to final project in my grad class, but I did take a 45 minute walk, I did one of the upper body premixes from 4-Day, and since Kristan talked highly about the 10 Min Solutions on Netflix, I did the kickboxing one lastnight (with K Roberts), and I liked it for a change. I plan to take a really long walk today, and work my legs. I have another event tomorrow (out of town). It's my cousin's shower (for her 2nd baby). The first time she was pregnant, she didn't tell anyone until she was in labor (don't ask). She never told who the father was. So, she continued to live with her mom. Now, 2 years later, she is pregnant again, and now engaged to this father (not the father of original baby-still don't know who he is). She got tons of stuff with first baby, so I feel a little weird about getting her a big gift for her official shower. I just got some clothes. Oh, and for the record, she is DH's cousin...not mine;-) .
Anne-I am so happy that your pain is gone and you are ready to try again. Good for you!
Morris-DS went through a stage like your son's. He would get up a few times a night screaming and crying. I just went in, hugged him and put him back to sleep. It lasted a few months, and now he is fine.I know what you mean about a snoring child too!
Lisa-What is your occupation? Great news about the counseling and the u/s. My next dr. appt is on Monday. They will do the triple screen, and I think that's it. Next appt. should be the u/s (in four more weeks). We tried swimming lessons with DS over a year ago, and it was good at first. After the first 3, he screamed his head off for the next two, so I took him out.
Maggie-My hormones were out of whack earlier this week too. And, yes, people get on my nerves too. I wish it wasn't like that, but I have a very low tolerance for stupidity and rudeness! I hope you feel better soon.
Hi Kristan! I will not be getting compost, but I will be getting really dark mulch next week. You have inspired the gardner in me
.
Kate-A nap sounds good! Have a great weekend!
