Trying to get leaner

What Cathe videos are good for leaning out? I have Mega Step Blast, Step Heat, Circuit Max, Step Works, PS Series, MIC, MIS, Body Max, Step Max, Interval Max and Cardio Kicks. Right now I am alternating Mega Step Blast with Circuit Max but I worry that I'll loose muscle mass if I keep it up for longer than 2 weeks.
 
Hi Katechren! I want to make sure I'm hearing you right. You want to keep muscle, and lose bodyfat right? If it is, I get great results for leaning out by doing a "MAX" rotation. BodyMax, MIS, MIC, IMax, and Circut Max. You'll get your 3 days strenth, along with 4-5 days cardio. Anyway, I saw great results doing this. Hope this helps!!

Wed: BodyMax
Thurs: IMax
Fri: Circut Max

Sun: rest or run

I would definitely take a Sunday rest after that week. Believe me your body will need it.

I am also trying to lean out a little. A while back Cathe suggested a "weight loss rotation" to Jackie. You might want to look at it. It was on Jan. 31, 2001. I took out the CTX week and am on the second time of week one. No weight loss though,:-( the easter sweets have been to tempting lately.

I'm hoping it's just the Easter candy, I was thinking about starting that rotation in july, or then again the "max" rotation which also looks good, or then again some new rotation with Cathe's new tapes....the possibilities are endless!!

How's the rotation going? Have you started it yet?? I'm thinking of starting my Max rotation earlier than June. Will take weight and measurements tomorrow and decide then. Let me know how it's working for ya:)!!

I made it through the first week just fine. Although the MAX Tapes are high impact, I am having to pains anywhere. I haven't taken any measurements, so I don't know if I've lost anything ( and I threw out the scale last November) but after just one week it is very unlikly. I know I have been drinking too much beer, wine etc. lately (I hate relocating to a different state), so with all the excess (alcohol)calories I am probably the same. I'll do it for 3 more weeks and then I'll check out the FIRM Studio (we just moved to Columbia, SC) for a month. But yes, I am pre-ordering the new Cathe tapes, too. After doing Cathe for 5 months, the FIRM seems to be a walk in the park.

My "max" rotation has gotten interrupted by the wonderful spring head cold. But, before that I had gotten thru a week and a half and was loving it. The month before I was really busy and only got in 2 workouts a week at most so I easied into doing the Max rotation by substituting Power "Max" for Interval Max. I noticed this wasnt one of the original tapes but I figured it would be "allowed" because it still had "max" in the title. :) :)
