Trying to Fit Yoga In for Saturday October 27

Morning Ladies - (if anyone's around today) -

This morning I wanted to take a rest day, but my DH had to go and eat chocolate and such in front of me last night after dinner, even though I keep asking him not to and I was bad and had some chocolate....so I felt I needed to burn some calories today.

I ended up doing Ellen Barret's Fat Burning Fusion. It was a recovery workout only in the sense that my HR stayed lower and it was low impact, but it REALLY worked the legs with tons of plies and such. I remember being sore in different places from this last time and I think I was able to concentrate more on form today and to a better job. Workout was 47" and I burned 362 calories. I also did Body Wisdom's AM Yoga with Barb Benagh - Extended Morning Routine 45".

We're going to see a scary movie today....either Saw IV or that vampire movie and then the concert is tonight. My DH is being a complete idiot and I really don't want to go anywhere with him.......and told him I'd go by myself cuz it's just in Downtown Youngstown.

Jen - good to hear from you yesterday. I'm sorry you fell off the workout wagon the last couple of days. You'll get back into it! Work must be stressing you out, huh?? I'm waiting for Walgreen's to get my Background check back and my drug test and I will most likely start on Monday or Tuesday of next week. I'm sort of nervous cuz this is going to be a huge adjustment for me with the hours and I'm doubting myself and abilities as usual. How's Lenny doing? Still on the upswing, I hope?
 
Hi Lora! Lenny is still doing wonderfully-thanks for asking! He had the week off of chemo, but has to start going back next week. Still not sure when all of this will be over. Since we usually take him on Fridays, he was really antsy yesterday morning. He thought he should be going in the car with us......that smarty pants has figured out what Fridays are!!!! Yep, I am totally off the wagon AND brought leftovers home from last night that we will have for lunch today. I would throw it away, but it was an expensive dinner, so NOT doing that! :( :eek: :( My Jillian kickbox should be here today, just in time to kick my a$$ into gear! You are going to be fine on the job!!!!! I worked retail for a lllloooonnnnggggg time and you get used to the schedules. It will be nice that it won't interfere with your workouts. I also liked that I could get things done in the mornings or during the day (when working evenings) and during the holidays it was so busy that the days FLEW by! (No time to even dread my job!)

Have a great day everyone! Off to surf Catheland and then eat some breakfast. (probably something evil with some equally evil coffee drink) DH and I will be watching Knocked up today. We also have to complete 15 pages (EACH) of psychological evaluation paperwork this weekend, since our required marriage counseling appt is on Wed of this week.

Back again! Tonight's WO was Ripped to the Core Back segment (deadlifts and rows) X 2 followed by LIC step combos only and abs. I also did 100 band squeezes for the back. I really love the abs in LIC-forgot how good they were! I also previewed Jillian's WO and it looks good. I wasn't up for it today but may try it tomorrow. Jillian's Kickbox title is a little misleading...it seems a little more bootcampish to me other than a few kicks and punches.
