Trying to Fit Yoga In for Sat Dec 8

Morning Ladies -- if anyone checks in today

This morning I did PK Step with Petra. This was a lower intensity step workout. I had some difficulty following it ......as my brain must still be on overload. Workout was 58" and I burned 432 calories. Looking back at the week, I did not have a particularly good workout week. Maybe I should give up the step this week and try some kickboxing for this brain overload/new job stress thing.

I also did Finding Balance Yoga with David Luray 80". This didn't even make me feel good like yoga usually does. Don't know what's up with that.

Happy Saturday to all.

I will be going to prenatal yoga today - and then off to do my errands. We have a Xmas party to attend this evening - and tomorrow will just do some shopping.

I can't believe that Xmas is just a little over 2 weeks away -and i have yet to begin shopping, decorating, entertaining, baking etc etc etc....The upside is that this is my last week at work until the New Year (didn't manage to take all my vacation this year) and will have time next week.

Will try to check in later on..

Hi ladies! No WO for me last night, but Fridays are my usual rest day so that's not unusual. Today's mission is to find something sparkly to wear to the company Christmas Party next weekend. I sure do wish I had been more consistent as of late....considering I will be in many dressing room mirrors today! LOL! Oh well, I have gotten good results just from the few workouts I managed to get in this week and I still look better than last year overall, so I'll take it! DH is working today to get some overtime-gosh, the house is quiet.

Have you ladies completed your Christmas shopping yet? I haven't even started. Things have been so tight lately with Lenny's chemo costs and all the out of pocket we are paying for the infertility workups. We are going to have to scale back a little this year.

Lora-Sounds like you are settling in at work. I am sure things will continue to get better and better there. How is your DH handling everything now? Is his attitude better?

Yve-How are your dad and mom doing? You are still doing great getting your workouts in! It is interesting that pregnancy is already affecting your joints, as I have heard it can soften them up slowly over time until the delivery. Be careful and kind to yourself, ya' hear? :)

I plan on working out today, probably a circuit since I missed one day of cardio this week and one day of weights...that will even me all out at the same time! :) Have a great day! I will BBL.
 
forgot to mention that I put Petra's new Step workout up on ebay for $9 if anyone wants it. It's a good DVD.
