Morning Ladies -

This morning I did P90X+ Total Body followed by 15 minutes of The Biggest Loser Cardio Max. Workout was 67" and I burned 438 calories. I used my new chinup bar with the chair to assistance and my new Perfect Pushup handles.....but I think I went too low in a couple of pushups and felt a twinge of pain in my bad shoulder and now it hurts. I hope it gets better quickly.

I can't believe it's Monday already. Where did the weekend go?

I guess I'm starting a P90X+ rotation........but I don't know how long I'll last before I get sick of it. We shall see.

Have a great day ladies.

Jen - are you feeling better yet?

Hi Yoga Ladies-

Today's workout is back/biceps from p90x. I am in the last 4 weeks. I was telling some other people, that I am not in the 'honeymoon phase' anymore, I am in the 'I hate your guts/Let's get divorced' phase. I have really enjoyed p90x, I am just getting sick of the same stuff, and always listening to Tony. I have his 'jokes' memorized. Ugh. I hate it, but I love it...

Lora- I don't mean to freak you out about your HRM! I double checked mine, I too have a Mio. Mine is probably a lesser version of yours. I got mine at Wal Mart. It's a Mio Sport. I am going to double check my resting HR. You need to do it first thing, while you are lying in bed before you get up. You also put in your weight, birthdate, female, etc.

Have great Mondays everyone!

Good morning ladies, I'm finally home! It feels good to be home :)

I got in a regular workout this morning and then this evening after DD's bath the two of us are going to do Candlelight Yoga before she goes to bed :)

Ok - Mommy brain is at it again.... I could have sworn I posted here this morning - only to find that I had really posted in yesterday's thread... so I copied and pasted here.

Goodmorning ladies,

Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Saturday morning I went to prenatal yoga - and yesterday I went to my regular pilates class.... Last night I fell asleep at 8:00pm.
I don't know why I was so exhausted!

Today I think I will do the Erin O'Brien Prenatal Fitness Fix. As far as prenatal workouts - she is a pretty good instructor.

Lora - I didn't realize Eion has a new dvd coming out - I went to his site - and watched the clip - it looks amazing. I also realized that he will be running a superflow workshop in Toronto in February... I wish that I could go - but in Feb I will be around 8 and a half months... don't think it's a good idea...His new book sounds interesting though.
Hope all goes well at work today.

Carrie - Wonderful that you had a shopping spree. Where did you go shopping?

Jill - Hope all is well - and that it has warmed up a bit in Omaha... the cold is really hard to deal with. I used to turn on a portable heater when doing yoga.. It was my miniature hot yoga class - but really it was also to deal with the cold in my basement!

Jen - I hope you are starting to feel better - and the cold is going away.

Hi Kel - Hope all is well.

Yve

Yve - Eion has a new book out? How did I miss that? Where did you see it? I'd die if I met him. I just love him so.......I think he'd be so cool in person. He's quite a character. You should go!!

Carrie - what is your resting HR set at......mine's been set at 56 and I know that sometimes that affects my burns, but I swear this HRM is better than the previous ones I have. It takes my HR quicker and maybe it's more accurate cuz it's a newer version???

I had another not so good day at work. I sure hope they keep me on and don't call the Temp Agency for a new employee!! I'm still stressed!

Hi Lora -

Yes - there is a book that will be out mid-March called Peak Vitality - He has made a contribution to it - but isn't the sole author. But there are other big names who have contributed to it - ie Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Prince Charles.

There is a small blurb on his site about it: http://www.eoinfinnyoga.com/

I would love to go to his class - but I think that I will be too big and cumbersome in February to do his class. It is a superflow class - and sounds pretty intense...But you are right - I should give it a try. Here is the blurb for the workshop:

I'm crossing my fingers that all will go well for you at work - and that they give you a break. Clearly you want to do well - which makes all the difference.

Have a nice night ladies.

Yve-I do use a portable heater in my home sometimes when I do yoga, but I don't think my parents had one...besides, their house was too cold for me to even get off the couch and unfold my body from underneath the blanket! I think I'll visit them during the warmer months from now on ;-)

DD and I did Candlelight Yoga this evening and I feel so nice and relaxed. I hope it translates into a good night's sleep, too :)
