Trying One Last time - Powerstrike Question

Hey all you Powerstrikers!

I just wondered what type of music is on the Powerstrikes - how would you classify it (i.e., pop, rock, or new age, or whatever category you see fit)?

I am thinking about trying them out, but am curious first as to the background music.

I posted this question before but it got lost in the shuffle, so I'm trying again!

Thanks!

No, I'm talking about the PowerStrike kickboxing videos (not made by Cathe). There are some people on the forum here that have those videos as well and like them for kickboxing.

The music in powerstrike 1 is the same as the music in powerstrike 2,
sort of a club style dance music, maybe a little funky.

It goes with the moves, and I like it anyway, but just in case you are not sure about buying them both then I would just get one video, perhaps powerstrike 2 as It works both sides of the body equally, whereas powerstrike 1 seems to work the left side to death.
Just my thoughts anyway, but I dont think you will be disapointed.

Yeah, I'd call it kinda club style too. If you were only getting one of them, I'd have to agree to go with Millenium 2. They're both good in my opinion, but if I had to choose between 1 and 2, I'd choose 2.

M-3 is different from them both and better as an introduction to Powerstrike. The pace is a tad slower.

Thanks to all of you for the answers. I had asked the question on a couple of other threads and was starting to feel like people were not wanting to talk to me :)

Ok, I'll try 2 and see what it is like! I think that would be good music for that style of workout.

Thanks again!

I agree with the others. 2 is better than 3. To be honest I don't like any of them. I think 2 & 3 are both boring. I was so not pleased when I received them. I think the quality is terrible, the sound is muffled and to me it looks like a very cheaply made video. I know I am spoiled by Cathe!!!

I might even sell them to you for dirt cheap. I have #2 on video and #3 on DVD.

I have done each of them only once and never got them back out again.

Hi Punky!

Felt like talking to someone and thought I'd pick YOU today! Tee-Hee! To keep this thread on topic, I have #1 & #2 and like them both. True, they are not the quality of a Cathe tape but give you a good workout when you don't feel like jumping around a bunch, which isn't usually the case with me, but I do like them. Whew, talk about a run-on sentence! Have fun!

RE: Hi Punky!

Hey Debbie,

I feel honoured that you picked me! I found out that a fitness friend has the milleniums, so she is going to lend them to me so I can see if I like them enough to buy them or not.

I think people said they were good for form, which I could use. I do Cathe's CTX kickbox but sometimes I don't feel my form is perfect, so I would mind some pointers.

Have a good day!
