I am having this now for my a.m. snack and it is sooooo good!!!

1 cup milk
1 frozen banana
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
1 T natural PB

Blend into a smoothie. The banana adds the "ice" to it so don't add ice and dilute the flavor.

It feels like I'm cheating!!!

ETA -- I made a smoothie yesterday with one cup of frozen raspberries, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, and 1 cup of milk. It was very good.

Of course, the milk is skim.

Wow jane that sounds delicious! I will definitely make this one today. I have to go get some more protein powder today anyway. I can drink this after I do S&H today.

I'm glad you posted that today.

By the way, you are doing great with you caffeine. You go girl!

:9 Looks delicious! I make smoothies with frozen blueberries and strawberries, I have yet to add peanut butter, though, but I will try it!

Jane, I made this smoothie today....are you sure it's not cheating? It was so delicious :9.

My thighs are like "Are you sure this is good for us, it tastes sooooo good."

Thanks for the recipe.

You're welcome Desi... I am constantly trying new combinations for my smoothies. This one is definitely one of my favorites.

I've never ventured into the world of protien powder. Where do you get it? I'm intrigued.

I started keeping LOTS of fruit in the freezer - stock up on sale in season - and using it in smoothies. Sometimes, it ends up so thick, it's like ice cream, and that's a whole 'nother treat!! :) Most times, I don't need any ice at all, so the fruit flavors really stand out. And yes, it's hard to believe sometimes that these are GOOD for you!!
