Did you all hear that Anne Rice is thinking about letting Hollywood recreate the "Interview w/ the Vampire" movie, with Robert Downey Jr as Lestat?! This makes me so mad!!! Basically because 1) the 1st movie was so great, why would you ruin it by remaking it and only what, 15 years later (holy crap, I can't believe it has been that long!!!) and 2) it's sad she's trying to capilatize on this whole vampire hysteria.

Why not remake "Queen of the Damned?!" What an awful excuse for a movie!

I think Janie is right. As soon as it happened, I thought it was related to her fairy roots.

I didn't hear that. I have to be honest, I was not crazy about Tom Cruise as Lestat. He didn't do a bad job (actually better than I thought he would), but he wouldn't not have been my choice. Of course, that is my humble opinion.

Cosign the remake of Queen of the Damned.
