Trouble with some rotations

I love the rotations that Cathe puts together. But some of them have cardio that includes running (blech), treadmill/eliptical work, etc. I don't own any of those machines and absolutely cannot stand running. I'm definitely a DVD workout girl. I know variety is good but what can I do in place of those things. I hate not following the rotation as closely as possible. I'm looking for something to do until the new series gets here. Thanks.

do whatever cardio you like to do in its place. if its an interval run do an interval cardio dvd like imax 2 or 3. if its a steady state ellipical workout, do a regular step workout.

Kim- Cathe was asked this ? awhile back and I recall her saying to do any cardio that was different from what you are normally doing (ie: step)... You can walk/jog..how about a kickbox tape? Do you have any HiLo tapes? Anything that is cardio that will give you variety- tennis- athletic yoga (where you work up a good sweat)

How about power walking? If you can work up to a speed that would feel more comfortable to run, but don't run, you actually burn more calories than you would if you would run (because your body has to fight against its natural urge to break into a run).

I've been incorporating power walking into my workout rotations for the last 3 weeks, and now walk most days of the week, usually for an hour (plus warm-up and cool-down) and have worked up to a 14.03 Mile/minute pace (love my Garmin sport GPS!).

If I'm following a Cathe rotation, I'll do a walk/run thingy instead. I also hate running (even though I'll occasionally do it), but I find this more bearable. If you have a treadmill (or access to one), maybe you could do some incline walks instead? I do about 2-3 a week (on top of my regular workouts) and I feel I'm really getting some good results. :)
