Trouble with form on Tri

I'm having a lot of trouble with my form on the tricep exercise in PH, MIS, and PS where you have the barbell directly overhead, close grip and put the bar backwards so that it barely touches your forehead while also not moving your elbows. No matter how hard I try to keep my shoulders blades contracted (per Cathe's advice) I feel like I'm utlizing shoulders, esp. on the right side (my dominant). I am frustrated because I know I could go heavier, but afraid I will hurt my shoulder. I do feel the work in the tri's, but need further pointers. Help!!

You might be using your shoulders because the weight you are using is a bit too heavy. You might try going down 5 pounds for a few workouts, and really working on form. I sometimes pretend that I have $100 bills held between my upper arm and my torso, which helps keep the arms stable (so I don't lose my money!).
 
Or you do what Cathe advises and imagine you are holding 2 teacups of tea. You want to do it right or you will spill it.
