Trimming Down Thighs

Hi Crystal,
I completely understand what you're talking about. My thighs are huge I'm currently doing the thighblaster rotation. I don't know if you've heard of it anyway, I did the rotation last summer and I did lose inches which is what I'd like to lose now. I think the rotation is posted on fitprime check it out.

Hi Crystal! Try adding an interval workout to your rotation along with a day of running and a very clean diet (that is if you are not already doing these things;-)!

I agree with Cathe. I think the best way to trim down any problem area is to do an active aerobic workout paired with a
muscle toning workout for the area. That way you both burn fat and build muscle in the problem area. The aerobic sections of the CTX series are great for this. I often pair them with weight workouts for the thighs, both floor and standing.

Seabush,

You might be able to use this. It's advanced, but I bet you could modify the speed to suit your level. It's from Cathe.

"Cathe's Advanced Treadmill Workout"

3.4 - 4 min.
3.8 - 4 min.
4.4 - 4 min.
5.5 - 4 min.
6.5 - 5 min.
7.5 - 10 min.
8.0 - 5 min. (Optional)
Slow down over 1 min. to 3.8
Raise incline to level 14 and walk uphill for 10 min.
Lower to level 9 and increase speed to 4.8 for 5 min.
Lower to ground level over 1 min.
Then do:
4 interval cycles of 8.0 for 1 min. and 6.0 for 30 seconds
Finish with:
6.0 - 2 min.
3.8 - 3 min.
3.4 - 3 min.
3.0 - 4 min.

Geez, now *I* want a treadmill. That looks like fun.

Also, I saw your question about a rotation at the Ya Ya board and made a suggestion. HTH.
